How did this lose Image
I saw this here, didn't even see the guy's caption lol
I don't think this had any actual effect on the race but I will say that posting Yes Chad memes back and forth is the absolute lowest form of political discourse

He's still going with DeSanctimonious, which a panel of Trump insult experts recently labeled "weak"

GOP: Civil War is already more intense than I expected it to be. No idea if it will last
Kind of depends on whether DeSantis decides to run, but even if he doesn't you might have louder anti-Trump voices within the party now
Meanwhile a Biden challenge is way less likely now, as you've probably picked up on, assuming he goes for another term

Twitter is completely invaluable and cannot be easily replaced. Forget the funny tweets, it's home to thousands of communities around the world. Journalists from every country use Twitter, there is nowhere else you can go for instant coverage, analysis + discussion of everywhere
Twitter clones could take years to develop the breadth of this global userbase. If the website ends up dying, there is a lot that will be lost. Maybe there are other "analysis/discussion" alternatives - Facebook, Reddit I guess - but nothing performs quite as well
I don't think this website will/can actually die unless drastic changes- like cloistering off or paywalling the website as described here- actually go through. Personally I'll probably stick around until the bitter end here and work up contingency plans

GOP 220
Dems 215
Sorry about last post, I was counting Dem vs Dem races which had already been added. You can view results here: nytimes.com/interactive/20…
It goes without saying that these will shift. These are the parties *currently* ahead in each seat, not the called total, which is here

This is the Story of the Day. I know there's a lot going on but this is the Story of the Day Image
The Governor of Illinois made a direct reference to a fan account that seeks to encourage him to establish a khanate in the Midwestern United States
Stunning. No, not the right word. Humbling
