How NOT to oppose a judge up for re-election.

1/ A brief #legalethics ⚖️ tale for #lawtwitter.

2/ Setting up a website seems normal enough...but firetheliarjudge.com is maybe a bit over the top.

3/ Then allow other people to post materials that the judge is (falsely) a member of the KKK...not so great.

4/ Then in a panic, contact the hosting provider and lie about all of it

5/ Finally, when confronted by the Ethics Board about your involvement - just blatantly lie about everything.

FIN/Result?

A 30 day suspension is "sufficient to serve the goals of attorney discipline, act as a deterrent, and preserve the public’s trust in the legal profession."
