They list 6 early figures under Whiteness studies. Here are their demographics:
Fat studies is too obscure to have a Wikipedia page, but seemingly both the editors of the fat studies reader are Jewish based on the names. amazon.com/gp/product/081…
Data: The lists aren't perfect but don't want to cherry pick so just used Wikipedia. Couldn't confirm directly David Halperin is Jewish but it is an almost exclusively Jewish name.
