Sayyed #Nasrallah:
We meet every year on this day to celebrate our martyrs. This day was chosen after the operation conducted by the prince of the sacrificial martyrs, Ahmad Qassir, who stormed his explosive car into the governor headquarters in Tyr killing 100s of Zionists.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
This operation marked the beginning of the path of sacrificial martyrdom operations against the Zionist enemy, who thought that with time, the people would grow accustomed to the occupation & give up the fight.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Any people or entity who respect their martyrs would celebrate them and designate a day for the celebration of their martyrs.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
We are gathered here today as they look down upon us from the Heavens, for they are the ones who are alive, truly alive. Alive. Alive. Alive. This is Allah's Promise in His Book.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
We gather here today with the honorable families of the martyrs, and also remember those who passed away after dedicating their lives to the service of this path. God-willing, they have also gained the status of a martyr.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
We know very well that behind the sacrifices made by the martyrs stand their mothers & fathers. There exists great religious & ethical value & sentiment in this upbringing; when a mother encourages her son to go to the battlefield...
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The blessing of the blood of the martyrs is what saved us. After Allah (SWT), it is thanks to their blood, their sacrifices, that we achieved the victories we have achieved. Where do we stand in the battle today, & where does the enemy stand?
S #Nasrallah:
As for the martyrs whose bodies were not recovered, & those of our men who remain missing, unknown whether alive or martyred, we are working on this issue. I am personally following up on it with the brothers, for it is every family's right to visit their martyr.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
What we witness with our martyrs is the continuation of this path with their children & grandchildren; the grandfather is martyred, & passes down the banner of martyrdom to the father, who then continues to pass it down to the son.
Sayyed #Nasrallah:
Usually, the 1st generation is who the enemy is worried about. They worry about the 2nd generation slightly less, but their bets are on the 3rd generation who they think would abandon the cause, assuming they are not as motivated as the other generations.
Sayyed #Nasrallah:
The enemy has worked towards that; they have attempted to strip our societies of our morals & ethics; homosexuality, fulfilling desires, etc. In the past 10 years, we've had many martyrs, & our youth were competing & begging to be sent to the battlefield.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Just as the Zionists were betting on the exhaustion of the Lebanese people in 1982, & were later surprised by Ahmad Qassir, today, just as they bet on the exhaustion of the Palestinians, Oudai Tamimi & his brothers have surprised this enemy again.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
To us, all israeli governments are criminals, regardless of who wins the Knesset elections. The results of the recent israeli elections do not concern us because all the israeli parties are similar to each other in their crimes.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
With regard to the maritime borders, oil & gas extraction & the operation of companies in the sea, we do not believe that there is a withdrawal or cancellation of this agreement.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Some consider that the guarantee is the American commitment. Our real guarantee is the element of strength that Lebanon possesses.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The results of the israeli elections may have serious repercussions in Palestine because the power will be in the hands of foolish people.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
When watching the elections in the United States on television, we see blue & red colors on the screen, supposedly representing Democrats & Republicans. I told the brothers, "What difference does it make if the devil wore blue or red?"
S #Nasrallah:
Addressing the Leb people, the United States Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs said that it is because of the curse/plague, I am unsure of what her words translate to exactly, which is Hezbollah, that the Lebanese people will endure more pain.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
What I would like to say to her is: do you remember when Lebanon was invaded, occupied, & faced the ugliest atrocities by the Zionists? Who was supporting them back then? You! The United States! You are the curse! You are the plague!
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
What we can say about the calamities we have faced so far is, & despite the fact that my English is poor, but we can say: MADE IN THE U.S.A. (he said it in English😄)
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Hezbollah eradicated the plague of the takfiri terrorists which the U.S. brought to Lebanon. The Americans are the ones who took advantage of the protests & caused turmoil & chaos in the country. Hezbollah saved Lebanon from this chaos.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
America still forbids countries from saving Lebanon today & companies from investing here. Iran was willing to aid Lebanon with fuel, unconditionally, but because the Americans forbade it, now we are importing fuel from Iran.
S #Nasrallah:
The Americans, as they admitted themselves, only finalized the maritime border issue between Lebanon & the Zionist entity to avoid war in the region, for they know the repercussions of war with Hezbollah today, & the current U.S. administration has other priorities.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Lebanon obtained its demands in the maritime border demarcation agreement with its strength. The one preventing Egyptian gas & Jordanian electricity from Lebanon is the one enforcing the Caesar Act, namely the United States.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The Americans, who failed to bring Syria down through the establishment & funding of the takfiri terrorists, want to bring it down through starvation todat.
Iran has decisively defeated the US-israeli-Western conspiracy against it.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
I call upon the Lebanese people not to surrender or succumb before the curse & plague of the United States who wants nothing but to defend israel.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
No one wants a void in the position of the presidency in Lebanon. We need a president who would put the national interest above his fears, one who would not tremble in fear when the American embassy scolds him.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Lebanon must defend all its elements of power, one of which is the presidency. During the reign of president Émile Lahoud, the Resistance was assured, for 9 full years, that behind it stood a loyal president who would never stab it in its back.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Same was the case with president Aoun, during whose presidency Lebanon made the accomplishment of gaining back its resources. For 6 years, the Resistance knew that in Baabda resided a man who had its back.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The Americans publicly state that they support the Lebanese army who they believe to be equipped to face Hezbollah. We trust that the Lebanese army's leadership is loyal & refuses any confrontation with the Resistance.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The U.S. Embassy intervenes in the smallest governmental & ministerial details in Lebanon. The current presidency candidate is focusing on the disarmament of the Resistance, ignoring the countless other issues the country is facing.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
We need a president that cannot be "bought" (bribed). The Americans have no problem buying a president for $50M for example or more, depending on his price.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Had the state been in the hands of Hezbollah, the country have would at least had some hours of electricity. The Resistance does not need a president to protect it, for it does not need protection, it only needs one who would stab it in its back.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
If the Lebanese want a powerful state, then they have no resort but negotiations & dialogue to find common ground between them, & they need a president that would not betray the Resistance.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Those are the traits I wanted to focus on this Martyr's Day, and I pray Allah (SWT) grants us this blessed badge of honor and pride.

Last thing this Martyr's Day: in my younger years, I did not understand why people would post the pictures of martyrs. What was the point? What was the purpose? I'm offended I ever thought that, but I did not know any better.
Today I know this: not all of us were blessed to know martyrs in our day-to-day lives. Many of us are able to build a relationship with the martyrs after their martyrdom, by learning about them, their lives, their martyrdom, dedicating time to talk about them, making them known..
I've learned that this could allow said martyr to choose you for Shafa'ah (intercession) on the Day of Judgement, as this is one of the blessings of being a martyr. They know us, as we get to know them too.

Ali Hussein Safieddine, born on the 30th of September, 1966, was the second Resistance soldier to carry out a sacrificial martyrdom operation against the occupying Zionist army in South Lebanon on the 13th of April, 1984. He was only 17 when he carried out the operation.
(thread)
Ali was his parents' firstborn, their first bundle of joy. He was lovingly raised by his mother & father despite the extreme poverty they lived under. They then had to move to Beirut, leaving behind the village they loved so dearly in attempt of finding better living conditions.
Ali's mother took care of him & his 3 siblings who would go to school while their father worked hard to make a living for his family. This was until Ali one day woke up to the sound of his father screaming in agony.
