On the 10th of March, 1985, Amer Kalakesh (Abu Zainab) carried out a martyrdom operation against the Zionist occupation in South Lebanon. His identity remained unknown until after the liberation in 2000. During those years, the name "Abu Zainab" haunted the Zionists. Image Amer was born on the 26th of March, 1966 in the Southern Lebanese village, Dibbine. He was raised in a pious family, & was known for the deep affection he held for his parents & siblings. His father believed his son would achieve great things & placed a great deal of hope in him.

-fasting; postpone travel when possible to gain the bounties of fasting during the holy month
-praying the obligatory prayers on time -refraining from sleeping before Fajr prayer, which results in missing this prayer
-reciting the Quran calmly, slowly, and with attention, taking the morals and lessons it teaches us; don't stress on finishing it, rather focus on understanding the verses you read well

Last thing this Martyr's Day: in my younger years, I did not understand why people would post the pictures of martyrs. What was the point? What was the purpose? I'm offended I ever thought that, but I did not know any better. Today I know this: not all of us were blessed to know martyrs in our day-to-day lives. Ali Hussein Safieddine, born on the 30th of September, 1966, was the second Resistance soldier to carry out a sacrificial martyrdom operation against the occupying Zionist army in South Lebanon on the 13th of April, 1984. He was only 17 when he carried out the operation.
(thread) Ali was his parents' firstborn, their first bundle of joy. He was lovingly raised by his mother & father despite the extreme poverty they lived under. They then had to move to Beirut, leaving behind the village they loved so dearly in attempt of finding better living conditions.
