A giant ship's engine broke down, the ship’s owners tried one ‘professional’ after another but none of them could figure out how to fix the broken engine and no one could repair it, so they hired a Mechanical #Engineer with over 40 years of experience. Image
He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeing everything, the engineer unloaded the bag and pulled out a small hammer.
He knocked something gently. Soon, the engine came to life again. The engine has been fixed!
A week later, the owners received an invoice from the old man for $20,000.
What?! the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything..!!!”.
So they wrote to the man; “Please send us an itemized invoice''
The man sent an invoice that read:
Tapping with a hammer………………….. $1.00
Knowing where to tap…………………….. $9,999.00

The importance of appreciating one's expertise and experience...because those are the results of struggles, experiments and even tears.
If I do a job in 30 minutes it's because I spent 20 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.

''I would have blamed @PeterObi for saving if I didn't know how he revived schools in Anambra, how he invested in roads, how healthcare was in shambles when he came and he gave Anambra about 4 school of health technology..non existed before him, rebuilt and funded
all General hospitals...built a teaching hospital from scratch where open heart surgeries were taking place before he left...
Midwifed the first car manufacturing company in sub Sahara Africa
Attracted several companies...
Created the best school system before leaving office...
Anambra had the best road network before leaving office.....
I think, this is quite different with Yar Adua leaving N6 billion in Katsina.
While Katsina was at the bottom of education, Anambra climbed to the summit in Nigeria....
While Katsina had one of the highest child

''Put the facts in correct context.
Everyone has the right to assess Peter Obi’s tenure as Governor of Anambra State the way he or she wants. But, just try and put it in context.
Today, many governors in the country have their Houses of Assembly at their beck and call.
They will pass the law the governors want even at the dead of night.
But Peter Obi never had that privilege. He worked with a very obstructionist state legislature that impeached him once and wanted to impeach him again and again throughout his tenure. To have achieved what
he did with that legislature is heroic. May be he has to save the money instead of allowing these legislators waste it. May be he did not have enough room to get laws and projects through legislative approval and smartly used executive action to effectively govern the state.

''@PeterObi: Elevating Political Discourse
It's sooooo refreshing to read arguments about the worth of a former Governor's investment rather than the size of his loot.
Honestly, it's giving me so much joy reading the back and forth comments concerning Gov Soludo's TV interview
last night when he tried to dismiss the value of the investments by the Peter Obi administration nearly 10 yrs ago.
The truth is that Peter Obi has elevated political discourse so enormously that Nigerians are now fact-checkers!! Who would have thought!😁
Nigerians are now ready to dissect everything that comes from or concerns a politician. That's so nice to see.
How I love the effect Peter Obi is having on political discourse! The man has scaled several prejudicial put-downs to become the conversational agenda-setter in this

''Peter Obi's 12.24 million USD investment and reduction in value? Who is to blame?

Firstly,my name is Charles Awuzie and I am an investor. My family holds shares in several South African and American companies. During the Covid-19 pandemic, our financial Advisor who also doubles
as our investment portfolio manager wrote us a heartbreaking email stating that the value of our portfolio had lost 40% in value. He said the global economy has never seen anything like it since world War 2. But he advised us on what to do which we did.
Gladly, our portfolio is in recovery.
I don't want to talk about how much value my Crypto portfolio has lost in the past 6 months. This information is publicly available.
The question of @PeterObi's 12.24 million USD investment losing value in recent times can only be mocked by

It took a 19-year-old with $8 10 minutes to blow up Elon Musk’s new blue check scheme
At 2:29pm, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported news that would shake up the NFL: Josh McDaniels, head coach of the Oakland Raiders, was fired.
The tweet racked up more than 3,000 likes and thousands of retweets, as all Adam Schefter tweets do. After all, he’s the primary source of breaking news around the NFL and he is verified on Twitter so people can tell at a quick glance they are looking at real news from a trusted
source.
Except, it wasn’t Schefter who tweeted that—despite the account’s display name reading “Adam Schefter” and a blue checkmark appearing next to it. It was , an account created earlier that day by a 19-year-old college kid who had $8 to spare.

Inside the capture of a Russian oligarch's superyacht
The list of Russian elites banned from spending their fortunes in Western countries had been growing since 2014, as governments tried to isolate President Putin after the annexation of Crimea. When tanks rolled into Ukraine
in February, oligarchs faced renewed scrutiny.
"We're joining with European allies to find and seize their yachts, their luxury apartments, their private jets," President Biden announced on 1 March. After nearly two months tied-up beside shipping containers, the Fijian supreme
court cleared the way for the US to seize the boat. It had become an international spectacle.

After the ruling in June, the island's chief of police posed for photographs on deck with US embassy officials as the Stars and Stripes fluttered overhead. The boat, which had flown
