Shellings reported by the Ukrainian General Staff
Kherson region is looking quite strange for obvious reasons.
Svatove
Soldiers from the AFU can most likely smell what the local restaurants in Svatove have on the menu, they are that close.
The AFU repulsed attacks around Novoselivske, Myasozharivka and Makiivka in this area.
Bakhmut
Now when one of the two Ukrainian offensives are coming to an end, hopefully some more artillery can be moved to this area. A lot of the NATO equipment has been allocated to the two offensives. That is partly why Wagner have some success in this area.
I'm still not worried about losing Bakhmut even if it's pretty rough for the AFU.
The AFU repulsed attacks in the area of Bilohorivka, Vesele, Soledar and Bakhmut.
Donetsk
The AFU repulsed attacks in Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Maryinka, Pavlivka Krasnohorivka Opytne and Pavlivka.
It is interesting how the Russians keep attacking Pavlivka, they claimed they captured it a few days ago.
Unlike me, they must suck at maps.
Kherson
I have 20 locations confirmed as liberated, including Kherson City. The rest is most likely a formality at this point.
The Russians destroyed all crossing over the Dnipro. This was expected. They also completely destroyed the power production capabilities in the Hydro electric power plant.
There will of course be losses related to the retreat, there might even be units left behind, but I don't think it will be in the thousands. There will probably be some amount of equipment left behind, this is unavoidable.
DeepState published a funny video about Pavlivka and the Russian bogus claims I mentioned in yesterdays thread. t.me/DeepStateUA/14…

I totally forgot the weather report.
It's about to get colder in Ukraine, make sure you support organizations like @LibertyUkraineF which are providing Ukrainians with much needed supplies.
The Ukrainian general staff reported shellings all along the active frontline. There are also some shellings on the right Bank of the Dnipro in northern Kherson region.
The liberation of Kherson is the result of 3 months of attrition warfare. Continued attacks on the Russian ground lines of communications was at the end too much for Russia. To succeed this this, you also need them to spend ammo and fuel. They spend ammo and fuel during combat.
I get a lot of questions about the Russian retreat.
Why would they announce the retreat before they leave?
Why would they announce it on TV?
Here is what I believe:
The retreat has been going on for weeks.
There is only a small number of troops left east of the river, mostly lower valued units like mobniks and goat lovers. Some will most likely be sacrificed to cover the retreat of the last units
Announcing it on TV gives the Russian leadership a chance to save face. Kadyrov and Prigozhin immediately came with statement saying Surovikin was very brave and that he saved a lot of Russian lives. This announcement was purely for domestic propaganda.
Kherson
I have 10 settlements I consider being confirmed as liberated today. This is moving pretty fast.
It appears we are about 12-24 hours behind actual events based on rumors yesterday.
