Alright, I can't do this anymore. It's time for me to come clean abt something...

We (the govt) are intentionally disabling & murdering millions & millions & millions of ppl by continuing to let COVID rip & lying abt everything lol.

Whew, that feels good to get off my chest.

We've literally been lying abt &/or hiding all the information & data so that nobody has any idea what's going on, or how bad things have been, are now, or will be!! AHHH YIKES!! THAT'S SOO BAD!!

The first thing we did right when the vaccines were made available, was tell ppl [incorrectly] that the vaccines would prevent everyone from getting COVID. We knew this wasn't true, but we said it anyway. & then to extend that lie, we told ppl that it was safe to take off masks.

Then, when vaccinated ppl kept getting infected, we started calling those infections "breakthrough infections," so as not to undermine the lie that we had prev told abt the vax preventing ppl from getting & spreading COVID. Then we disingenuously asserted that these were v rare.

Then, after the Delta wave came & went -- & bcs we lied abt vaccine capability to begin w & gave everyone a false sense of security -- the virus continued to spread & mutate through the fall, creating the Omicron variant that arrived last winter.

W/o knowing ANYTHING abt it, we asserted that, luckily, this new Omicron strain was "mild" & then we even floated the idea that it would be good for everyone to get it, so that they could, w both their vax & antibodies from infection, have 'hybrid immunity' to extra protect them.

We had no idea if this was even remotely possibly btw, but we said it confidently & the media lapped it up w/o interrogation (as they do) & then spewed it directly into your living rooms. At this time, in winter 2021, we started talking abt endemiticity & the end of the pandemic.

We also started scapegoating ppl who chose not to get vaxxed, regardless of their reasons (whether distrust of govt/pharma which tbh would make sense!, potential adverse reactions, not old enough, etc.) & the president warned them they'd likely suffer & die through the winter.

Everyone accepted this on its face, repeated it over & over, internalized the msg & smugly vilified individuals who chose to not get vaxxed as the true villains of the pandemic, even though the vax, as I said, doesn't stop ppl from getting & spreading. Only prevention does shh.

So, as predicted, we did see a winter of death & suffering! Only it wasn't just unvaxxed, but the elderly , immunocompromised ppl, young & healthy ppl, the v young even. Biden initially planned to do ZERO to help you get thru (also he ended PUA & COVID supports just before this).

But then someone asked Jen Psaki abt sending ppl tests & she indignantly scoffed back "what are we just gonna send everyone tests?!?"

Well, you know what happened next. We threw the tiniest bone & reluctantly sent tests to every household!!

It was super easy & immediate (we can do things to help when we want; we just don't want to).

So, we deliberately didn't do anything to stop the spread of the virus, but, we did give people tools to help them maybe know when they contracted it (they're like 60% effective Idk).

That's something, right? Kinda.

Idk don't be greedy. It's just your life/health & the lives/health of the ppl you love & care abt. As we said over & over, we need to learn to live w this virus. & by we, I mean you. & by live, I mean suffer &/or die. But yea, no more tests.

As I gleefully proclaimed not too long ago, we've offloaded everything to the private mkt, so things will be less convenient & accessible & cost you more $$. We can't be bothered anymore. We've dumped tons & tons of shit on you so far & you've handled it, so you're prob good.

Anyway, Omicron went buck wild last winter & spring So many ppl got it & died or got #LongCovid. Oh yeah, even tho we pretend #LongCovid isn't a thing, it v much is. It's actually really common & it's v bad & we don't even know how bad it will be, nor do we care to find out.

That would look really bad for us, tho, so don't say anything. Anyway, in the spring of last year, we kinda stopped really counting & pared down reporting. We also took that awful scary red map & replaced it w a mostly pastel green one, which looked way less scary. Phew.

Whereas the old map showed COVID cases in your area, the new map showed how many hospital beds were avail. This def is way less helpful, but, the green made us look better, so, we went w that. We named it something close to the previous map, so you wouldn't notice. & you didn't.

Also, giving you home tests that are not reported/counted, as opposed to relying on PCR tests that are reported, make the numbers look better, too, so that's been great. Anyway, that was the beginning of the funny business w the numbers. We've only gotten shadier since then.

W map looking green instead of red, we started telling ppl it was time to get back to normal. We had a cadre of "experts" get on board w this (Lena Wen, et al).

They talked abt the alleged negative effects of kids masking (that's made up btw) & how everyone is tired of mitigations to stop spread (also made up lol). They also diminished the role of schools/kids in community transmission (it's huge btw).

Then lo & behold, everyone started lifting mask requirements. Schools, stores, cities, states, et al. Boom, map green, masks gone, reporting winding down...pandemic gone!! Woohoo! We were proud to say we accomplished our mission (to make this go away - like remove it from view).

Throughout summer, the virus continued to circulate & percolate worldwide & variant soup started cooking. But, nobody could really see it, bcs we did such a good job burying & news wasn't talking abt it, we weren't talking abt it (notice CDC & WH are *NOWHERE* to be found??)

While unchecked spread caused new variants to emerge, we stopped giving them clear Greek letter names like Alpha, Delta, Omicron & instead started classifying them all as sublineages of Omicron & giving them names that look like E**n M**k's kids name. Omicron BA 2.75 & shit...

This made it hard to for even ppl who were fastidious abt it to even keep track of what we were dealing w, in terms of new variants...
