Veer Gogaji was born in a village called Dadreva in Vikram Samvat 1003 in Churu district of Rajasthan. Veer Goga ji's mother Bacchal Devi had no children due to which she used to be troubled. Once he did a lot of bhakti of Guru Gorakhnath.
Then Guru Gorakhnath ji was pleased and gave him a fruit to eat. Goga ji was born after eating that miraculous fruit. He got his name Gogaji after the name of Guggal fruit. Goga ji is considered to be the first of the 6 major Siddhs of Rajasthan.
Goga ji is worshiped as the lokdevta of Rajasthan and has the boon of being the Deity of serpents. Gogaji is worshiped by Takshak and Vasuki Naag. When the Ghajanavi came to attack Bharat from the Eastern desert, Gogaji's army stopped him.
At that time there was a fierce battle between Ghaznavi and Gogaji. According to some stories Goga ji had made a sacrifice in the war, but some people believed that Gogaji had entered into the Earth with his horse because of a curse.
Even today the fair of Goga Navami is celebrated with great pomp. Huge Gogamedi is situated in Hanumangarh of Rajasthan, which is called the Devasthan of Goga ji. The morchari is of great importance in the puja of Goga ji. By the bhakti of Gogaji, one gets freedom from snakebite.

और वापिस रावण से युद्ध करने हेतु लंका के लिए आगे बढ़े थे।मंदिर की खासियत ये है कि यहां पवनपुत्र हनुमान की दक्षिण मुखी मूर्ति स्थापित है। इसके साथ ही यहां हनुमान जी की पत्थर की नक्काशी वाली एक शानदार मूर्ति है, जिसमें भगवान राम और लक्ष्मण उनके कंधों पर बैठे हैं।
