@elonmusk, some creepy dude compiled a list including myself and other #TwitterBlue customers and has posted it to an external site. I've reported the account for abusive behaviour, but he's blocked me (and presumably everyone else on his hit-list). Is this sort of thing allowed?
@chiIIum@threadreaderapp@ImQuishaK you're close to unseating Seth from whatever placement in this ridiculously sized list! Only two positions below his account! You can overtake him if they ever update the page!
Please no "Malcolm in the Middle" jokes, guys. 😅
I have a second portion archived. "Tools for fighting abuse?" What does this dude think this website is? 🤔
Okay so the Blue subscription list is the update to that story. Rest of the stuff has existed since April. Whatever he's using to scrub website, it's not a complete list. Absent from the list is @TheOmniLiberal2, although they may have subscribed after the most recent info trawl.
I archived creepy guy's pages. It wouldn't archive Instagram but I'll post it here anyway.
If your position is that DeSantis *should* challenge him in a primary, it sort of kills arguments that it's surprising/upsetting when he's put in President Trump's crosshairs. Either he's a threat and is fair game, or he's an ally and the attacks should be curbed. Can't be both.
The timing is also important. There's a good amount of time between now and the primary. Better to get everything out of the way now and rally supporters later than for it to blow up in everyone's face in the middle of a primary in which the point-of-no-return has been passed.
A sizable plurality of DeSantis' donations are coming from the anti-MAGA coalition within the GOP, as they have identified him as the most viable challenge to Trump for the nomination. If DeSantis makes his abstention official, some of those donations will begin to dry up.
DeSantis should either concretely state he's not running in 2024, or he should admit it and come out with it already. But he'll do neither, because that would impact his fundraising capabilities in regards to the wealthy GOP donors who are coalescing behind him as an alternative.
Many people are ignorant of the fact that DeSantis' proxies have been going after Trump for months, many of them declaring his political career over back in 2021 (or earlier).
Now, those proxies are complaining about the attacks, playing the hatchling, as if they'd just found out that Trump deals with these issues head on rather than through proxies like themselves.
Brian Lilley writes about being made aware of an interview featured in a news program produced by the state-run Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).
First, some background.
Before final negotiations at the G7, the President was asked during an interview about a sunset clause in the renegotiated deal with Canada. (14:20)
