i used to be cool, but now I say things like: 🧵
“nuclear waste is the safest waste in the world”

it’s the only waste in the world where we know where every single gram of it is. can’t say the same for plastic waste that piles up everywhere including your balls.
“capacity factor is sexy”

nuclear electricity runs over 90% of the time, rain or shine, day or night. wind and solar only run about 20–40% of the time, which means they need a backup power source to keep the grid stable aka fossil fuels.
