The Total War on Al-Shabab has many obstacles mostly stemming mainly from federal member states (FMS) and dark horses within the security sector. These obstacles need to be addressed immediately to avoid giving space to Alshahab terrorists. Let's start examining FMS

#Puntland - Deni is not doing anything to stop ISIS and Alshabab illicit activities such as illegal Iran weapon smuggling, illegal Chinese fishing, & illegal gold mining export- this was documented by the US gov other orgs. Deni hasn't repealed the "Catch and Release" policy.2/8

#Jubaland; Madoobe is facilitating Alshabab economic illicit hubs and safe havens- among illicit econmic activities that benefit and share with JL admin are:
1-Charcoal exports $150M/yr revenue.
2-Human and Livestock trafficking cross-border. 3/8

#Hirshabelle- Ali Gudlaawe & his SNA militia are the dark horses that are delaying the War on Alshabab- these former militias in the SNA historically committed massacres and has recently initiated clan conflict among Abgal tribes. These militia & Gudlawe are AS facilitators.4/8

#Galmudug Qoor Qoor is holding back the Gamaudug region army to participate in the War on al-Shabab- he has recently extended his term. During Farmaajo's presidency, he removed the Ahlusunah Waljamah militia who were holding back Alshabab; his action aided Alshabab. 5/8

#Southwest State- their president Lafta Gareen has facilitated 2yrs al-Shabab blockade that ended recently, his term is ending in December, and doing anything he can to facilitate al-Shabab to stay in power.6/8

Security Sector: @HassanSMohamud admin inaction to reform teh security sector, especially the SNA and NISA has resulted in 150 innocent people becoming al-Shabab terrorism victims- officials within SNA and NISA are known to aiding al-Shabab In delaying military operations.7/8

Alshabab has a war chest of $450M to bribe corrupt tribal leaders, politicians, army, & traders to jeopardize the war on al-Shabab- @HassanSMohamud must go back to the drawing board and seek US gov help to eliminate Alshabab once and for all- there is no going back. End 8/8
