~Made You Look~ P1
(College AU)
For @kathdays

The droplets of rain that hit the windowpane sounded like white noise, intense to subtle, fingers matched the rhythm unconsciously.

Tapping and clicking buttons on a laptop, paused to stifle a yawn, palms fisted against eyes.
How was he still functioning? Correct answer? He wasn’t. The time? It was 11PM.

He should have been at home.
A brief pause in his thoughts, Apo looked to the other occupants of the university library. Two making out on a couch, and two on separate tables with the notable hunch of concentration.
His friends called him crazy for staying up till 3 most nights, mornings, an odd sleep cycle, but photography required a lot of elements he couldn’t control.

Lighting, area, weather, the subject, everything was a variable.
Along with that came other neglected classes like history and English.

He tended to push them to the last minute, mad dash complete, then click ‘submit’ a minute or two before the due time. His professors made bets on him submitting it ON time. Bastards.
Apo turned to the table massacre he made with scraps of newspaper clippings, polaroids, printed maps. All. Paper. Material that was not water resistant. Fuck.

He didn’t want to have to reprint anything again and sagged in his chair.
Living in the city, his parents and him had decided to use the tuition fee for a private one-bedroom apartment instead of investing in a car. It was on rainy and wanderlust days that he missed having one.

Friends abandoned him to double-date, Apo was on his own.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want a relationship, no one fit the mold. Seniors at his university either dated in their circles, hooked up at clubs, or went to outings at other schools. Dating required time, effort, money, transportation.
He also had this classical mindset of romance. Dashed away in the rain, share a kiss with his partner, then they’d return home, shower, and hunker down for a comfortable night in. Light tunes playing, coaxed to dance, laughter.
Everyone nowadays just wanted sex. Not that he excluded himself from it; he wanted the ability to fall in love. Was that too old school?

Not realizing he had closed his eyes, Apo peeled them in time as a living hallucination walked in, it was all he could focus on now.
This man. A living god incarnate was not real. He couldn't be.

It didn’t help the vision was dressed in just a white blouse, rain soaked, the fabric stuck to pale skin, said skin shone in the library fluorescent lights.
Light grey slacks that were checkered with water stains, fitted to a waist; black hair dripped, bushy brows furrowed together, a flush of pink on those cheeks. Plush lips.
Gorgeous. Beautiful. The halo of water sprinkled on this guy, who held a sense of ‘look at me’, just accentuated features that very much appeared only in Apo’s dreams.
The was the expression, the clouded, stormy face that matched the weather outside, is what had Apo on his feet. Now in front, he was met with eyes that were startled, lost, like an abandoned pup.

“Are you okay?”

“How’d I get here?”
“You tell me. This is the campus library. You don’t look like you’re here to study,” Apo had teased though stood on one hip, head tilted to observe. The man’s chest heaved, lips open to breathe, had he sprinted there?

“I was – uh – I was at the restaurant down the street.”
Apo nodded as if to assure this adorable creature could continue. Granted said man was taller, bulkier, and could tackle Apo any time, he looked small.

“And I—"

“Wait, hold that thought.”
Mouth snapped closed, the stranger only stood there, nodded, water got into those eyes from the tips of his drenched hair, hands rubbed furiously at them. Looked like a petulant child that needed a nap.
Apo wrapped a jacket around the man’s shoulders, saw the closer look as they stood almost toe to toe, he smiled at the confusion, “It’s all I could find in lost in found. If it smells, it can’t be helped. It’s the only thing that might fit you.”
He really did have the best intentions. If unconsciously he looked a little too long, noticed nipples and creamy skin of that chest, who could blame him?

Apo only shook his head to shoo the pervert away.
The material, light brown suede, the fringe littered all over the garment, it would have to do. And if asked, Apo thought the man worked it. Then unconsciously said it out loud because the guy laughed, and heavens it was precious.
“Huh?”

“You said that I work this?”

“Damn my mouth it never catches up with my brain sometimes,” He flashed a sheepish grin in return.
The hearty laughter returned, it filled Apo to his core, the expression of sadness dissipating, only sunshine seeped through. They stood there a moment.
“Thank…you…” A murmur, then a stomach grumble, color dusted that nose to the tips of ears. Embarrassed at the rumble, hand to stomach to chide it.

“I take it you didn’t get to actually eat at this restaurant?”
A head shook, water sprayed everywhere, Apo held up his hands, amused to death then shifted them to catch that face. Hot to cold, those cheeks melted under his palms. Eyes stared. He swallowed, up close, this was an angel.
You were getting water everywhere.”

“Sorry…”

“It’s okay,” Apo shook his head, shifted hands to brush back the locks, back into place, nodded in satisfaction, “There, handsome again.”

“You think I’m handsome?”
Apo smacked his mouth, damn it to hell, waved his hand, “Ignore me! I’m dumb. Come on over.”

He trailed back to his table, settled into his seat again, gaped at his mess, “I’m sorry. It’s 11 and I’m a mess, please just move whatever.” He heard shuffle, chair moved, body sat.
Apo went to digging through his messenger bag, found two bags of chips, a Sweet Basil, and a Barbecue, pulled out a kombucha energy drink, a coconut bun, then set it in front of the man, “My stash.”

“Aren’t you going to eat it?”

“No, no go ahead. It’s for emergencies.”
Without further prompting, both bags were opened, inhaled, the bun eviscerated, and the drink tossed back like a shot of whiskey in the span of five minutes.
Apo could only blink, saw the man collect the trash to place into one of the chip bags then looked at him contently. He couldn’t help but laugh, ignored the pointed face, “Sorry, it was funny.”

“…Sometimes lunch escapes me…”

“Student life am I right?”

“Yeah…”
The sound of the rain stopped pattering outside, Apo was relieved. Now he could take the bus home without worry. He peeked to his ‘guest’, saw him dazed out, so he went to packing up everything.
As if zapped, those eyes looked to his, got up to his feet immediately again, “Where are you going?”

“Uh. Home? I don’t actually live here you know. I’m just here all the time that I know where lost and found is."
Apo nodded then turned to head out, a hand on his wrist caught him as he threw on his bag.

“Can I give you a ride home?”

“Wait you have a car? Why didn’t you go home?”
"I uh- I just forgot about it."

"I can just take the bus it's fine-"

Head hung; shoulders sagged again, disappointment, Apo took pity, squeezed a shoulder, and smiled lightly, “Sure."
His parents would chide him. A stranger.

The smile that he was graced, deigned, regally blessed with was enchanting. It was Apo’s turn to feel a flush dance on his cheeks, lick of his lips, then let himself be tugged along behind a man whose name he hadn’t even caught.

Need You Now - P4
(Model x Owner AU)

Beauty was a complex concept to comprehend, to brand. They say it depends on the eye of the beholder, the subject, and the reaction.

Mile could never find himself terribly impressed by anyone.
The models, they all blended the same, glided around like swans, or wannabes geese, chins jutted out.

Painted pouty lips, bright eyes, knock off of one another.
The runway was the chop of the ax. Mile always situated himself up front to get a close angle, analyze, determine if they deserved to keep their contract or not. They worked hard yet failed.

~Blind Night~ (MA AU - 2 of 2)
#CentralEmbassyxMileApo
If there was one guilty pleasure for Apo, it was Christmas.

One semester spent abroad in New York; he fell in love with the holiday.

Huge Christmas tree, decorated with all its trimmings, its golden shine, the ceremony.
Now back home, he depended on the local malls to fill the hole. His friends thought him eccentric, a nerd, but he didn’t care. It was his tradition.

“I think we’re in time for the ceremony!”
“Ceremony?” Mile only chuckled, kept a solid grip on the camera bag, the purchases he had made, and Apo’s hand. The latter the most important.

~Blind Night~ (MA AU - 1 of 2)
#CentralEmbassyxMileApo

The lunch at the café delicious, brief, and the topics they spoke basics: weather, friends, school.
A standard setting for friends.
Apo knew that Mile was unattainable, what were his friends thinking? Image
He would call to yell at them, then drown himself in coconut ice cream.

As they stood by Mile’s car, passenger door opened for him, Apo only offered his hand in an awkward motion, “Thank you for your time.”
“Huh?”
“I can take the bus home or something, don’t worry.”
“You thought the date was over?”
Apo snapped his mouth shut. Stared. “It’s…not?”

~Blind Date~ MA AU (Mini!)
#CentralEmbassyxMileApo

Apo didn't want to go.

He vehemently & adamantly refused.
His friends woke the neighbors with their commotion, dressed him, dragged him, threw him from the car & left him stranded outside of the cafe on campus.

He sighed.
#CentralEmbassyxMileApo

He could take the tram back, but he admitted he was curious.

Who had they set him up with?

They were probably tired of his moping that they were couples, himself the third wheel. It wasn't his fault.

Photography took time & he had standards.
#CentralEmbassyxMileApo

Fidgety, Apo reclined against the railing, hands behind his back as he waited for the blind date.

It could literally be anyone, that made his stomach rumble. Or it could have been hunger. That was up for debate.

~Mini AU~ Final Part🔞(Mature/Explicit)

If he was asked what Mile’s apartment looked like, Apo would answer that it looked like a blob.

Why?

Apo had not focused on the apartment when they got there. No time to admire the array of trophies, photographs, trinkets on the wall.
It was the owner, Mile, that held his full attention now.

The minute they made it inside, it was Apo that had grasped onto Mile’s shoulders, heard the jock let out a sound of surprise as he was pressed to the front door, lips glued instantly to Mile’s.
Tongues swirled, twisted, even caught Apo by surprise when Mile’s decided to trace his teeth like a toothbrush, had him groan openly and not care of the drool that dripped at the corner of his mouth.

“Mm!”

~Love So Soft~ MA AU
(Venue Owner x Singer)
For: @its_just_Thu ❤️

Who wouldn’t enjoy the hundreds of adoring fans, cheering, chanting, and coming from near and far to see you?

The banners, the merchandise, the support.
Mile understood the appeal of being famous. ImageImage
The rush of adrenaline, the thrill of the performance.
He dreamt of it. Secretly. In his apartment. Alone.
A novice guitar player, Mile knew he had no chance at making it big. Skill not up to par with local bands, he preferred to stick to playing at friend gigs or the bar near the theater after hours. He played for the music, the freedom.
