FYSA, with a lot of these opportunities being shared, if you have 200-300 people interested in a career that starts with training you in anything but especially Cloud, DevOps, Data, etc… and it’s a paid training… they are start with the people who’ve done some work in studying.
So people who’ve done the training to learn more or gain experience may be able to succeed at higher rates than others who’ve never been exposed to a niche area.

I know I’ve shared several Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Data and software engineering opportunities.

Just start!
A great example of this is a company that made 10+ offers before I posted their opportunity telling me that there was so much talent in the people who applied later that they needed to open another cohort.

There's a company willing to train you for 3 months as a Cloud Engineer, sponsor people for a HIGH-level security clearance, straight out of college and pay upwards of mid-$100Ks.

But it's on-site, in Alabama.

Cost of living is so low you could live very well... but not remote.
Anytime it's not remote people are so mad lol.
Also, you don't have to be straight out of college, just gave a degree.

Certifications are not Certificates.

When you complete a course, you may get a certificate. This is proof of education. When you take/pass an exam, typically proctored, you earn a certification. This is evidence of meeting industry standards for a domain. (Cyber, Cloud, etc.) 🧵
Industry certifications are not FREE. There may be a program that helps you get free vouchers but these are NOT FREE.

For ex: right now ISC has free cybersecurity vouchers for their new entry-level CC exam.

ServiceNow provided free vouchers until 10/31.
People typically complete certificate programs when they are seeking to change their careers or pivot into new roles. They benefit from certificate programs because it provide guidance, more insight and better knowledge of the industry and typically recent trends.
