DESCRIPTION: The NAI Program Manager is the lead on the development and implementation of IDA's new fund, the Nonfiction Access Initiative. The Program Manager will work to implement the NAI Research & Design (R&D) process, outreach, and implementation.
The Program Manager manages the initiative's Access Coordinator, logistics, research, NAl public programs, and NAI submissions.
SEEKING: The ideal candidate is based in Los Angeles, has strong communication skills, a creative orientation, is extremely well-organized, and is able to work well independently as well as part of a team.
The ideal candidate would have deep relationships with the disability community. This position can be fully remote, on site, or anything in between.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in arts administration and/or the film industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience engaging in the field of Disability Justice.
- Knowledge of film history and documentary trends.
- Ability to think critically, infrastructurally, and out of the box about the best ways to support access in the field.
- Passionate about cinema and have a clear sense of the politics of this type of work.
- An interest in different types of film and media is a plus, as is any experience in film programming, screening committees, and grant review panels.
- Be willing to work collaboratively and proactively.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- 60K - 70K/year (depending on experience).

For many filmmakers and talent, their workspace is on set. For disabled representation to be increased both behind and in front of the camera, Hollywood needs to make sets accessible. It’s not that hard, it just takes intention.
