⚔️ I’ve been reading some concerns around national blockchain adoption, and whether governments will actually be motivated to build CBDCs on 3rd party infrastructures like #Overledger.
These are valid concerns, but in the end I don’t believe they impact $QNT.
My thoughts 🧵🔥👇🏼
Even if CBDCs aren’t built on #Overledger, they still need to interoperate with other CBDC networks and tokenized systems (smart contracts, payment processors, exchanges, IoT networks, legacy databases, etc).
🔥 $QNT is the premier solution for any-to-any interoperability.
While countries may not build national digital currencies on 3rd party infrastructures, regional networks will.
⚔️🔥 BREAKING: $QNT has partnered with @USTglobal, a technology consulting firm with 30,000 employees and 80 offices in 30+ countries.
The partnership will help financial institutions in UST’s network issue CBDCs, commercial stablecoins and digital securities on Overledger. 🧵⬇️
✅ UST works with companies to identify their core technology challenges and craft disruptive digital solutions.
🔥 They have 140+ clients in the Global 1000, spanning numerous sectors including financial services, healthcare, telecom, manufacturing and retail/CPG.
Speaking in front of the @ietf, @quant_network CPO Martin Hargreaves confirmed an implementation of Overledger + SATP API Gateways finished 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟐𝟎 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 at the latest #SWIFT hackathon! 🚀

You’ll notice Martin says “we were joint third with NatWest.”
It’s unclear if that means they tied NatWest for 3rd place, or there was a joint effort between the two.
The latter would further link $QNT to @fnality, as NatWest was an integral part of their 2022 cross-chain PoC.

⚔️ Since 2018, @Oracle has onboarded thousands of enterprise clients onto the OCI Blockchain Platform (OBP).
These companies use OBP’s low-code ‘Blockchain App Builder’ to assist with rapid development, testing and deployment of smart contracts across different DLT networks. 💻
🗣️ HSBC’s Global Head of Digital Innovation, Catherine Zhou, spoke last week at @Sibos on how HSBC is planning for the metaverse.
Her comments speak volumes about the company’s overall focus as they delve into Web3.👇🏼
Oracle’s EVP of Technology, Richard Smith, echoed this sentiment in the new partnership announcement, outlining how Oracle can help usher HSBC into a “new generation of financial services.” 💲📲
