The attacker’s motive isn’t yet clear, but authorities said the shooting is being investigated as a hate crime.

Andrés' family moved from Buenos Aires to Southern California when Cantor was a teen in the late 1970.

At San Marino High, he was the school paper's sports editor and a standout midfielder on the soccer team - who also wrote stories about the team. latimes.com/entertainment-…

The suspect believed to have killed 5 and injured 18 in a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado is in custody, according to police.

The attacker’s motive isn’t yet clear, but the club’s owners believe it was a hate crime.

The gunman opened fire at Club Q in Colorado Springs, Colo., just before midnight.

The attack was over within minutes. Police received numerous 911 calls starting at 11:56pm, and an officer arrived at midnight. The suspect was detained at 12:02am.
