Here's the leftist president of Mexico, @lopezobrador_, praising the un-banning of Trump.
It's vital to remember: Trump's banning by Twitter and FB was condemned by leaders all over the world. Only US liberals and corporate journalists - the epicenter of censorship - cheered it.
Beyond AMLO, numerous leaders who disliked Trump - including Germany's Anglea Merkel and France's Macron, along with EU officials - warned of the grave threats to democracy when Big Tech oligarchs can ban elected leaders like Trump from being heard:
Sometimes it's easy to forget how authoritarian US liberals and their journalist allies are because they always herald themselves as the vanguard against fascism. But they are global rogue actors. Here's AMLO eloquently explaining how dangerous they are:
Over on Mastodon - the obscure refuge to which liberal journalists are fleeing in fear of free speech even though they can't figure it out - they're already banning each other over the most trivial infractions.
It's like a laboratory to study how censorship-happy rats behave.
A "journalist" group was started by super-woke Mega Ally @adamdavidson, late of @NewYorker. He just banned the trans activist @ParkerMolloy, late of Media Matters. Her crime? Accusing @pescami of being transphobic. His crime? Posting a NYT article on the harms of puberty blockers
These are the deeply neurotic, obviously unwell, vehemently intolerant left-liberal functionaries who - with scam "disinformation experts" and activist groups - have been controlling our discourse, dictating who can and can't be heard. The meltdown is because they lost this power

How have wealthy white women like @juliaioffe - of Princeton and @NewYorker - convinced themselves they're marginalized and endangered?
It's also offensive: she anoints herself spokeswoman for the groups that fought for free speech: leftist Jews, civil rights leaders, LGBTs etc.
And what the fuck is this? Jews have faced grave and authentic persecution throughout history. The desperation to grab and claim some of that for yourself -- as a wealthy white MSNBC media maven - is grotesque. Twitter is not Auschwitz or the Inquisition:
Jews, LBGTs and other groups claiming marginalization don't need censorship to be "safe." The opposite is true.
Censorship is a weapon wielded by the powerful *against marginalized groups. It's not used to protect them. That's why marginalized groups were always anti-censorship.
A vital reminder: the media outlets that always tell you they fight "disinformation" united right before the 2020 election to spread an absolute lie: this laptop was "Russian disinformation."
I knew it was a lie right away and staked my career on it. They lied *on purpose*.
The reason I knew the laptop was real was because conservative outlets produced conclusive evidence that it was, and it had all the hallmarks that we used to authenticate other large laptops: WikiLeaks, Snowden, Brazil.
The refusal to wait until basic facts are known in these horrific cases -- due to eagerness to exploit the dead for political causes -- is not just unseemly but reckless.
It's what lead huge numbers to believe - falsely - that the PULSE massacre was driven by anti-gay animus:
We know for sure the Colorado Springs massacre is a wretched tragedy: slaughter of innocent people always is. We know there is substantial anti-LGBT animus. But respect for facts still matters, and to this day, most people believe a total lie about PULSE:
It's not that hard to just wait a few hours or days to learn the motive. Then go wild exploiting it for your causes. The PULSE attacker had no interest in choosing a gay bar. All evidence showed that. But it played on stereotypes about Muslims and helped LGBT groups raise money.
In his email begging for public donations to compensate for the collapse of FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried -- who promised $4 million to the Intercept -- its Editor-in-Chief @RogerDHodge alleged: "we disclosed the grant in our reporting on SBF's political activities."
Like everything Hodge says and does, he is deliberately sketchy on when the grant was promised. But he admits they were talking to SBF since "earlier this year."
Here's an Intercept article from *August* about SBF's donations. No mention of the grant:
Here's another Intercept article on SBF's extensive spending from mid-August - by which point the grant had been extensively discussed if not fully finalized - that also makes zero mention of the extensive relationship between Tthe Intercept and SBF/FTX:
Nothing more pathetic than watching the British pundit class morally judge anyone, including Qatar.
The UK lavishes every Gulf State regime - including Qatar - with weapons. The UK invaded and destroyed Iraq, armed Saudis to destroy Yemen, cheered every Bush War on Terror abuse:
This is why the biggest joke was when Wimbledon, pressured by the UK Government, banned Russian players, degrading itself into an empty but pompous exhibition.
There are few crimes the UK isn't guilty of: not in the past, but now. If any country should be banned, it's the UK.
When I was at the Guardian, British journalists cheered then-PM David Cameron when he called @georgegalloway a supporter of "brutal Arab dictators."
Cameron had just returned from a trip where he sold arms and surveillance tech to Gulf State despots.
In the early Bush/Cheney years, Pelosi was the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee and was briefed on and approved of every War on Terror policy liberals claim to despise.
She also single-handedly saved NSA domestic spying from reform:💙
In fairness, and in the spirt of finding something good to say about someone as they loosen their hands just a bit on the political power to which they've desperately clung for decades:
Nancy and her husband Paul Pelosi have uncanny stock-trading talents
