1/ As $APE tokens continue to flow outside of the total supply currently linked to @BoredApeYC stakeholders, @ApeCoin DAO's priorities should reflect that of a more diverse member base, promoting the exchange of APE.
2/ Following the launch of @OthersideMeta, fully-diluted value (FDV) fell to a low of $3.5B as memetic momentum dissipated, rebounding in Q3 in part due to integrations with @BitPay.
3/ 15% of the 1B $APE was allocated to @BoredApeYC and #MAYC holders at launch.
By the end of Q3, the BAYC and MAYC ApeCoin balances were 3.7% of the total APE supply (11.7% of the circulating supply), remaining the largest member of the DAO cohort.
4/ 96,250 unique wallets collectively hold @ApeCoin’s total supply, with only Krill holders experiencing an increase. Whales (> $10M) however, dominated $APE trading volume.
26.5% of the circulating supply remained stagnant for 180 days +, the largest grouping of liquid supply.
5/ Looking to increase user base and token value across the crypto ecosystem, @apecoin DAO was hard at work passing common-sense proposals that included
+AIP-96: Funding for Public Goods
+AIP-98: A Community-First Marketplace
+AIP-113: Extending AIP-1 – the DAO Process
6/ Holder count and price action throughout Q3 seemed to react positively to @apecoin DAOs developments, relative to where things stood at the end of June.
1/ With @Uniswap's deployment of V3 and expansion into L2s, the protocol has successfully saturated its current addressable market.
As Uniswap looks to expand its addressable market, what strategies and future initiatives is the protocol leaning on to continue growth?🧵
2/ @Uniswap $165M Series B will be used to expand Uniswap's product line.
Internal organizations, the Uniswap Grants Program (UGP) and the Uniswap Foundation (UF), have added ~$9M in grant funding to ecosystem initiatives while also supporting community-led projects.
3/ On the developer front, @Uniswap's open-source software allows projects to integrate Uniswap or augment the existing platform.
This is dually beneficial as both augmentations and integrations drive usage.
Messari’s Governance Analysts read through 100’s of proposals every month to filter out the noise for DAO voters.
Users can toggle the importance level by navigating to the Importance drop-down menu.
There are 4 options low, medium, high, and very high.🧵
Low-importance proposals signify no action is needed, and there is no strong impact on stakeholders, the DAO itself, or day-to-day ops.
e.g. small parameter updates. messari.io/governor/propo….?utm_source=twitter_messaricrypto&utm_medium=organic_social&utm_campaign=governor_test
Medium-importance proposals signify substantial spending from a DAO, significant parameter changes, or uncommon decisions that are voted on but don't deeply impact the DAO or stakeholders.
1/ In line with @dYdX's move to @cosmos and overall efforts to fully decentralize, the next fundamental change for the protocol as it evolves to V4 will come through changes to its governance structure. 🧵
2/ To divide internal operations, the @dYdX DAO will comprise several autonomous subDAOs.
Each subDAO will work on core functions of the protocol and will be accountable to the dYdX community.
3/ Currently, the DAO is made up of the 'Grants subDAO', tasked with accelerating protocol growth, and the 'Operations SubDAO', tasked with establishing the playbook and future subDAO structure.
As framework is established, @dYdX DAO intends to launch additional subDAOs.
