If you look at the ballot return rates in California, you can see a major problem for BOTH Republicans and Democrats.

The key statistic across almost every district: Latino voters stayed home.

Let me explain why this is bad news for both sides...

For Democrats, Latinos are clearly questioning their loyalty to the party of "wokeness," unlimited abortion, open borders, gender transitions, et. el. They no longer see the Party as a party fighting for the working class.

By staying home, the Democrats lost a large chunk of the electorate that usually carries them over the top. This is why the GOP overperformed across the state.

Now let's get into why this is worrisome for the GOP...

I made a post already about Frank, but I wanted to share this article about him & say a few more words about how Frank still inspires me to keep fighting.

Since the primary ended, there have been many times I thought about giving up and going away.

I’ve often sat at my desk and told myself it’s best to just stop speaking up and simply go back to running my business.

It doesn’t take long after such thoughts for me I remember sitting with people like Frank and listening to them share their struggles and ask for help.

It reminds me why I decided to run in the first place. I’ve said it many times and I know it sounds cliche, but I never wanted to be a politician.

I decided to run because I am tired of the status quo. I’m tired of both sides promising the world and delivering nothing.

GOP spends time holding recruitment events telling people they want “good people to run.”

I stepped up & Kevin McCarthy & his CLF spent a million slandering me as a “liberal carpetbagger who couldn’t hold a teaching job.”

All so they could push their corrupt donor candidate.

At the time our campaign had never once been adversarial towards Kevin. In fact, we tried like heck to get him to sit down with us and we even shared all our data and strategy with the NRCC.

Instead of giving us the time of day, they stole that data and used it against me.

BTW, the notion of me being a “carpetbagger” is beyond ridiculous.

I originally planned to run in the old CA16 which was a D +20 seat that had never been held by the GOP. Then moved to CA13 which was a Biden +13.

That’s not how a carpetbagger operates.

You might not want to believe it but, last night, @GOPLeader & @LeaderMcConnell got what they wanted.

Kevin gets a small majority he thinks he can control & Mitch gets to preserve the status quo in the Senate AND they get to scapegoat Trump to try & finally get rid of him.

The races where “MAGA” supposedly got rebuked, received little to no help from Kevin, @tomemmer, or the @NRCC.

Not to mention, the candidates running were absolutely blasted by the @CLFSuperPAC & the NRCC in the primaries (even compared to Hitler) leaving them heavily damaged.

That’s why Kevin was giddy last night and Mitch said nothing, because this is the result they sought behind closed doors.

They can now stall Biden’s agenda and attempt to destroy #MAGA at the same time while hoping to revert back to crony GOPism in 2024 and beyond.
