when i take people through my museum and we talk about the ukr war there are 3 main questions that people ask. and are shocked they dont know the answer or the answer they thought they had was wrong.

1. when will the real russian army come into the war?..
most people still think the USSR and russia are the same. they think russia is toying with ukr and the 4 million man russian army is just ready to come in.

after showing them staffing lvls, and what units are NOT in the fight they are shocked. only a handful of picked over brigades and one non deployable division are left in the russian ground forces NOT getting hammered in ukr. this shocks most people.

2. how is it that the corrupt, underequipped, small, backwards ukr army is still holding on?

after i show them the ukr army, navy, airforce, border troops, national guard, TDBs, and vol units where the ukr army is now a professional 1+ million person army.. again shocked

and 3. what about the 40 billion in cans he sent hunter bidens ukraine? ok this is probably the best one. no 40 billion in cash, its equipment, mostly surplus gear we are having to pay to have cut up or stored, its about 5% of the US DOD budget.

and the way its structured its mostly fake money. a hmmwv costs about 41,000 new.. so the same old used hmmwv we send them has to be counted as new (for accounting) so its not really 41K its saving the US 5K (we dont have to store or demil it). its cheaper sometimes to donate

i have had a lot of luck with changing minds and opening eyes... just by talking to people and having data to back up what im saying. everyone can do the same to your friends and others. dont dismiss people engage them.. and if you run into a issue...

also bismira (the company hunter worked for) is no longer allowed to be in the ukraine, this war has done much to clean up ukraine, there are still problems.. but its nothing like it was ... and getting better..
