Fox dropped the crime coverage as soon as the election was over, because that was just nonsense to boost Republicans. They're still doing the LGBTQ stuff—even though voters didn't care about it in the midterms, even after the massacre—because they want gay and trans people dead. 
"Dan White Society" was young Tucker Carlson's joke about how it's funny to murder gay people. This is what he's about.
Anyone who goes on Carlson's show is cool with killing gay people. Anyone who gets on the phone with their pal Tucker to get that hot media-and-politics gossip, insider to insider, is cool with killing gay people.
Please don't speculate about Carlson possibly being a self-hating homosexual; all available evidence suggests he's a standard straight guy who sees abusing gay people as a way to raise his own status and cover his own straight-person insecurities.
