I actually grew up very close to that Walmart...went to High School about 15 minutes driveaway.

I've been to it many many times. Its a horrendous tragedy.

And anyone who is using this tragedy to advance a political agenda while the bodies are still warm is sick.
I didn’t want to post about this, because frankly, it is exhausting and its personal. I’ve been having this exact same argument for my entire adult life.

Here's some evidence to debunk the inevitable nonsense the media will spew.

I 100% know pretty much exactly every single thing an anti-gun person will say at this point...the same old tired nonsense the wheel out of storage every time there's a tragedy on the news they can milk for political points.

They'll do that for #Chesapeake, my home town, too.
The simple reality of the situation is that the US is a very large country by global standards. Mass shootings aren't a US only issue as the liars in the press and their hack friends will say

A whole lot of "nice" nations (by which the vultures means "Western Europe) have much higher "mass shooting deaths per capita" than the US does...including France, Germany, Norway, Spain, etc

Those countries all have very strict gun control.

According to this 2018 study (surveying data over an 18 year period), US is 64th in world in terms of mass shooting per capita. That sounds worse than it is cause most countries don't track this data.

papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…
You WILL be lied to a lot in the coming days about how only gun control can solve this.

The reality is that the LOWEST gun homicide rates in America are in...Wyoming...where 59.7% of homes have a gun and which has the LEAST restrictive gun laws.

findlaw.com/state/wyoming-…
Whereas the "state" with the HIGHEST gun homicide rate is...Washington DC...which has the strictest gun laws in the country and ownership rates below most Euro countries.

findlaw.com/state/dc-law/d…
If stricter gun laws reduced gun violence rates, you'd expect jurisdictions with those laws to have lower rates of gun violence.

Instead, the opposite appears to be true. Data CLEARLY says gun laws don't stop gun homicide.
Same is true at the city level too...

To pick on @FearTheFloof, St. Louis, America's most gun homicide heavy city(and 9th most violent in the world) has insanely strict local gun laws

You know how to ACTUALLY convince me you're serious about reducing gun homicide?

When you actually bring down gun homicide rates in jurisdictions you've politically dominated FOR DECADES using the tactics you want to "go national" with.
One glance at gun homicide rates in St. Lo, Chicago, or Baltimore (all of which have been run by anti-gun Democrats FOR DECADES) proves that said tactics do not work.

Yet Libs blame everyone BUT the folks in charge of those jurisdictions.

This isn't to say that there aren't some laws that work...

We KNOW cracking down on straw buyers for example does.

But I've never seen a Lib even talk about actually enforcing those laws...despite them being the most effective.

Here's a rather well reported Washington Post (yah, a random act of accidental journalism) story on how this works.

washingtonpost.com/classic-apps/o…
If you can't read it, its the saga of one specific straw purchased gun being used in a dozen criminal acts.

Libs gun control debate is entirely media driven to gin up outrage 4 political points, not solve the problem
Its an attempt to shift the responsibility for criminal violence AWAY from the criminals who did it and onto 3rd parties that are easier to police for OBVIOUS fiscal benefit for Lib interest groups.
You can't sue Baker (the guy who bought the gun in the WaPo story) or Stunna (rapper who acquired the gun and used it horribly). There's no $ in that.

But u can shake down Bob' Shotgun Emporium or Remington & that's what Libs ACTUALLY want
Meanwhile, a few U.S. ZIP codes, practically all of them represented exclusively by political party which always promotes gun control, are plagued by gun homicides and nobody in power is willing to lift a pinky finger to do anything meaningful about it.
Instead, they use these horrendous tragedies to try to...punish folks in political opposition to them.

Its downright SICK.

Ok, this is so dishonest I've got to address it.

Let's assume Q Club attacker was grandson of this Lame Duck minor politician.

Libs are claiming that Voepel somehow got his grandson off of bomb threat/kidnapping HIS DAUGHTER!

That's the dumbest conspiracy theory ever!
The Statehouse, State Sen, Attorney General, and Gov. of Colorado where mass shooting happened = ALL Dems.

Rather than blame people ACTUALLY IN CHARGE of state, Libs are generating conspiracy theories.

Logically, assemblyman would WANT 2 PUNISH attacker for kidnapping daughter!
I mean, seriously, do these people REALLY think that Republicans somehow don't love their kids...but only their grandkids who bomb threatened and kidnapped their kids?

Their claimed motive here is LITERALLY BACKWARDS from the direction it logically would be.

This is must watch...

The Democrat's second biggest donor was flat out gambling his customer's money and giving the proceeds to Dems.

This was "spectacularly illegal."

The FTX Disaster is Deeper Than you Think via @YouTube
Its important to remember that Dems and their media buddies totally enabled this guy stealing his customer's money and are flat out trying to write the regulations governing the company.
Seriously, Biden's SEC flat out PROMISED never to look into it...basically saying "We know you're lying, but we'll look the other way." Image

This is a full on and flat out lie by @guzman4virginia.

There's two possibilities.

1: She didn't even attempt to read the standards and is 2 lazy 2 do her job.

2: She did read the standards but thinks her constituents are 2 stupid 2 check them.
Again, this isn't hard to find.

The thing Guzman is claiming isn't in the standards literally is..and it starts in Kindergarten.

Martin Luther King Jr. is mentioned 4 times in the standards.

3 more times than the original Martin Luther actually!

VERY basic primer on post elections vote counts and sketchiness...

It matters both where votes are coming from, what types of votes are coming, the rate they're coming at, and if there's a "good reason" for the delay.
Rural areas are often a bit slower for good reason (it's naturally more difficult to collate ballots in that kind of environment) and the count has steadily increased and parts of NV had a lot of drop offs on election day.
I wouldn't trust any ongoing uncalled elections as an example of fraud (as people are quick to baselessly call fraud when things don't go their way and we don't know the full story) so let's pick ones from 2018 and 2020 which we know the results of.

It looks like Nevada Senate race will come down to the ability to "fix errors" in ballots (that's what curing a ballot is.)

Local officials will notify voters of errors and the voters have till next Tuesday to fix it.

Use THIS LINK if u live in NV!

nvsos.gov/sos/elections/… Image
This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

These errors are things that ur allowed to fix retroactively.

A registered NV voter can view status of their ballot using the link.

If u voted in NV, CHECK THIS LINK to see if your vote counted and "View My Existing"

Alternatively, you can use this link to view the status of their ballot.

A lot of journos are claiming that the guy who attacked Paul Pelosi is right wing based on his blog...but that's an OBVIOUS hoax!

It was literally updated 5 hours ago from Alabama! It says so right on the whois website!

How'd he do that if he's in custody?
Don't take my word for this.

whois.com/whois/frenlyfr…

Check it yourself.
If you don't think someone can modify the WhoIs of a website...here's an example of how to do just that with dreamhost's modification instructions.

I'm not much of a tech guy and I learned how to do it.
