1./ A Thread. Is the Scottish govt's Gender Recognition Reform a paedophile charter? I fear so. Take the insistence on reducing the age a child can change their legal sex from Age 18 to 16. This may risk @NHSScotland unwittingly aiding and abetting abusers. Here's how.👉
1/of 18
2./ Children often look forward to 16 as a gateway to "adulthood". Giving them the chance to legally change their sex at 16 is bound to create added pressure on children under 16 and their parents to "be ready for the big moment". What does that mean in practice?👉
3./ If you're a girl that has gender dysphoria you'll want to avoid looking too much like a woman when you get your new certificate that says you're "male". One way to do that is to demand puberty blockers. Kids as young as 9 can get them in Scotland.
dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
4./ The problem is puberty blockers keep children mentally and physically pre-pubescent. The NY Times revealed how they prevent up to 12% bone development for every year they're taken. Kids end up smaller and more fragile. Who could that appeal to? 🤔
nytimes.com/2022/11/14/hea…
5./ Many children given puberty blockers have other mental health vulnerabilities. Yet during the debate about the GR Reform Bill the Scottish government has emphasised the Cass Review, which urges caution on prescribing, will be ignored.
thetimes.co.uk/article/snp-ac…
6./ From Sweden to France new restrictions are being put on the prescribing of blockers. Scotland is rushing in the other direction with £9M set aside to fast track kids on to blockers and an affirmation only approach to gender identity being enforced.
forwomen.scot/30/04/2022/let…
7./ This is especially dangerous since the main global promoter of blockers, trans health lobby group @WPATH, is immersed in scandal after it declared 'eunuch' a gender identity. Should we affirm troubled 12 year olds who say they want to be eunuchs?🤦‍♂️
dailymail.co.uk/health/article…
8./ @Genevieve_Gluck revealed how those writing the @WPATH guidelines included paedophile apologists who were linked to disgusting sites that fantasised about ....child castration. Here's her on the subject with Graham Linehan. #BringBackGlinner
9./ The combination of pushing puberty blockers which keep kids prepubescent and enforcing affirmation of identities that may arise out of abuse (such as a child loathing their body so much they want to be a eunuch) means the Scottish NHS risks aiding and abetting sexual abuse.
10./ If WPATH - whose guidelines govern trans health care in Scotland- is influenced by men who fantasise about castrating children how can we be sure the safeguards within our healthcare system (which is now fast-tracking the castration of young people) are robust enough?
11./ Of course we must always guard against wild conspiracy theories. Who can forget the nonsense of Pizzagate? Paedophilia unleashes such powerful emotions we must never allow fantasies to take root. But in Scotland we may have a different problem.
bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-tre…
12./ The Scottish govt had a reminder of the dangers of paedophilia not so long ago. It has funded a leading LGBTQ+ group for years despite its CEO at the time being jailed in 2009 for "the worst child abuse ever to come before a Scottish court".
lgbtyouth.org.uk
13./ LGBT Youth Scotland's James Rennie, was part of a global network of paedophiles who exchanged images of child rape. He himself raped a months old baby, the son of a local couple who were friends. The jury wept at the images they had to look at.
scotsman.com/news/horror-up…
14./ Did the scandal lead to an Inquiry? NO. Even though it had, in part, been coordinated from an LGBT+ charity's offices. Maybe politicians were embarrassed by the motion they'd passed applauding the group just 2 years before Rennie's arrest.👇
parliament.scot/chamber-and-co…
15./ You'd think the disaster at LGBT Youth Scotland would have led to a firmer resolve to protect children. Yet Nicola Sturgeon did nothing about her senior colleague Derek Mackay who had a serious drink problem except ban him drinking at conference.
16./ Sturgeon did that because she knew Mackay was known to get handsy. She did nothing about the fact he invited school classes into Parliament including after hours. Many were the same age as the 16 year old schoolboy to whom he sent sext messages.
pressreader.com/uk/sunday-mail…
17./ So much does the Scottish government care about child safety that when Mackay's harassment of the 16 year old boy was revealed Sturgeon's office allegedly tried to stop publication of the story, claiming it was intruding on his personal life.👇
theguardian.com/politics/2020/…
18./ So what have we learned? The Scottish govt has shown lax standards about child protection close to home. It lavishly funds an LGBTQ+ group implicated in one of the biggest paedophile scandals of our time and despite the fact it wasn't investigated after its CEO was jailed.
19./ It is now spending millions fast tracking Scottish children on to puberty blockers despite a UK Review which called that approach into question and said it risked trapping kids in gender dysphoria and failing to deal with mental health issues.
20./ This approach is championed by an increasingly discredited global health organisation @wpath which has paedophile advocates embedded within it. Together all this suggests the shift from 18 to 16 in the G R Bill is full of risks. But if children won't benefit, who might?
21./ What possible minority in society would benefit from a medical production line that increases the number of young, adult sexual partners whose bodies and minds have been frozen in pre-pubescence at the ages of 12 or 13? There's only one I can think of. Begins with a P.

1./ On the Guardian’s semi repentance. In 2016 Norman Spack was invited to a Conference in London hosted by Mermaids. It marked the end of critical discussion in this country by most journalists about an experimental treatment that robbed children of their puberty

2./ It’s welcome that last week the Guardian began to report more objectively about so-called “trans kids”. But in 2016 Tim Adams, in a report about that conference in the same paper, asked all the questions it has singularly failed to for SIX years. theguardian.com/society/2016/n…
3./ Adams pointed to the social contagion effect of a raft of trans celebrities and movies, highlighted a recent case where a boy had been rescued by a judge’s ruling from a transhausen mother and wondered what the long term psychological consequences of blockers might be.

1./ Good Morning America! Is the US finally waking up to the puberty blockers scandal? This article in @nytimes is powerful stuff, revealing among other shockers, teens on blockers may effectively be deprived of 8-12% bone density a year. It gets worse.👉
nytimes.com/2022/11/14/hea…
2./ Some teens may have more extreme reactions. After just a year on blockers one 15 year old had spinal bone density below 99% of others his age and weight. But the @nytimes pulls some important punches too. Take its description of the original Dutch research into blockers.👉
3./ According to the Times the first female treated in Holland was a success. What they don't tell readers is that by the time that transman was 30 'he' was suicidally depressed because of the awful surgical outcomes and felt 'he' would never have a partner.

1./ Tonight sees the Pink News Awards, which are like an LGBTQ+ tribute act to the comedy 'League of Gentlemen', full of misfits and ideas so mad you'd cross the road to escape from them. Why do people like Keir Starmer associate with the least reliable source of facts since Viz?
2./ Maybe Starmer doesn't mind the whiff of weirdness? When Pink News started Benjamin Cohen tried to repress his desire to be the biggest clown in the LGBTQ+ lobby's circus. A hint of the future tho was an early piece by Jacob Breslow who became a major defender of paedophilia.
3./ It was in 2015 that Benjamin decided to really put on huge clown shoes and troll lesbians and gays with what became a dark recipe of unthinkingly pro-trans but often homophobic obsessions. Here's Pink News celebrating the bearded "lesbian" transwoman, Alex Drummond. 👇

1./ Breaking News from the Trans-Utopia of Malta, the corrupt basketcase where a woke state and politicians conspired in the murder of an investigative journalist. At last the gangsters who were paid to blow up Daphne Caruana Galizia have been jailed.👇
aljazeera.com/news/2022/10/1…
2./ You'll remember Malta is held up as a model by the trans lobby. For 6 years it's been voted top LGBTQ+ nation by @ILGAEurope, the organisation co-founded by paedophile Ian Dunn in the 1970s. That's partly because Malta has championed Gender Self-ID.

1./ Child harm and pseudo science. Pink News - which routinely defames and misrepresents- now claims that removing adolescent females' breasts makes them happier. Could anything be more irresponsible? So just how bad is this latest garbage "science" from the LGBTQ+ lobby?👇
2./ The first thing to say is that when it comes to surgery we should never forget the placebo effect. 20 years ago it was shown that a sham form of a common knee operation had identical outcomes in pain relief to the real thing. Why might that be?
painscience.com/biblio/fascina…
3./ If people go through all the effort of surgery, which they've been told will relieve pain, their minds can convince them it has. In 2019 the BMJ decided the most common form of shoulder surgery was also no better than placebo. Millions across the world had undergone it.

1./ Puberty Blockers. If you're wondering how cancer drugs used to chemically castrate offenders became a globally recommended treatment for vulnerable teenagers...wonder no more. A new paper by Dr Michael Biggs dissects the scandal. And it's a shocker.👇
tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.108…
2./ Biggs traces the 30 year long story of how a tiny experiment in Holland morphed into the 'Dutch Protocol', a treatment regimen that's helped make thousands of kids infertile but which is backed by leading science bodies and journals like the Lancet.👇

3./ Like most reasonable folks you'd imagine if the Endocrine Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics the BMA and other medics have signed off on treating kids with blockers there must be really good evidence. Unfortunately, you'd be wrong. Here's how bad the evidence is.👉
