Are you considering swapping from MetaMask to a new wallet?

I did some research on four #MetaMask alternatives so you didn't have to.

Let’s get started 👇🧵
The first is @GetBlockWallet, a self-proclaimed privacy focused wallet as seen on their website:

“You’re leaking IP address and other data to node providers. BlockWallet’s Privacy Proxies trim your personal data. It's a VPN for Web3.”
Next up is @TrustWallet, one of my favorite mobile wallets.

They were acquired by Binance a few years ago and have recently launched a bug bounty for their new browser extension.
The next up is @xDefi wallet.

I just found out about it from @ErikVoorhees, whom I respect for his #DeFi stance.

I did notice that they were not open source at the time, but they claim to be next year.
Lastly is @0xFrame, another self proclaimed privacy focused wallet as seen in their bio:

“A privacy focused Ethereum wallet that runs natively on macOS, Windows and Linux”
I was not compensated for sharing these 4 wallets, but I’m open to hearing offers.

But seriously, along with privacy-focused wallets, I recommend using a hardware wallet and never storing all of your funds in a hot wallet.

Alright, lots of DMs shilling wallets so I will update the list.
For #5 we have @FrontierDotXYZ - I hadn’t heard of them, but their browser extension is in beta.

“We’re excited to release our browser extension wallet to beta users.”
For #6 we have @rainbowdotme

I’ve heard quite a lot of Rainbow, but I’ve never used them.

They are also jumping into the current MetaMask replacement narrative:
Next up is @Rabby_io wallet.

Rabby also themselves as a MetaMask competitor.

This is another new wallet to me but their UI/UX looks great and it’s multichain native. ImageImage
Coming in at #8 we have @zerion_io Wallet - this will be another honorable mention.

Their tagline is: “Manage your DeFi and NFT portfolios, trade across 10+ networks and connect to any decentralized application with one wallet”

Another multichain native wallet.
At #9 is another classic alternative to MetaMask is the @brave Wallet.

Brave’s self proclaimed ethos has always been centered on trust and privacy.

I haven’t used Brave in a few years, but I’d be keen to give it another go.
At #10 is @CoinbaseWallet, which has a very clean UI/UX.

I've been a user of @coinbase for yrs and like their recent efforts in #DeFi and Regs.

@brianarmstrong has been know to be "conservative,” but the recent FTX shitshow taught us that we don't need degen exchange CEOs.

I see on the timeline people are angry at themselves for roundtripping profits or suffering from the FTX fallout.

Crypto makes you resilient if you stick around long enough.

I’ve roundtripped many profits before and also blown up accounts, but I’m still here to tell the story.
The truth is, if you pay attention, learn from your mistakes, follow the direction of the people who have been here for 2 or 3 cycles, you can achieve you goals in this space.

The worst thing you can do, and I’ll paraphrase Cobie here, is get bored and complacent during the bear market and stop researching and learning, because you will miss the vast majority of the edge and alpha heading into the next cycle, preventing you from exponential growth.
