1) I will try, one more time, to lay this out and then Ima gonna give up.

2) We don't know a lot for sure about the 2020 election. We know it was steeped in fraud, throughout.

3) Rutabaga didn't get 81m votes. We can be pretty sure Trump got at least 74m, but don't know . . .
3) contd . . . how many more he got. Consider that with ballot harvesting, not only were Biteme votes being arbitrarily added, but we have more than a few reports of Trump votes being destroyed.

4) None of the elites, no one in the GOP really wants to get to the bottom of this
5) Many of you ask, "Why? Why wouldn't the GOP want to address the fraud?"

6) It is an easy & sad answer: Trump threatens to overturn everything. The GOP would much rather shut up & lose today, thinking they can come back to the gravy train tomorrow than have the bowl taken away
7) This is why you see it at the state level as well with MAGA candidates who will overturn the apple cart. If the GOP loses to DemoKKKrats, the cart is still here. If they lose to MAGA, they have a problem. So . . .
8) Back to the numbers. And if you haven't read these books, you really have no place to comment on who "will turn out" for a non-Trump candidate:
*"The Great Revolt" by Salena Zito examines PA & describes the Trump voters.
*"Bellwether Blues" looks at the key blue-collar . . .
8) Contd . . . counties in Ohio that voted for Zero then voted for Trump. He conducts MANY interviews, in depth (as does Zito).
9) @barnes_law has done some threads on these voters.

The key is these are NOT "GOP-leaning" voters. Quite the contrary, they hate the GOP . . .
@barnes_law 9) contd . . . as they hate DemoKKKrats. Many of these people have friends or relatives addicted to fentanyl. Many were vets. Talking "tax cuts" or "controlling big tech" is absolutely lost on them.
10) They do have a visceral reaction to foreign military involvement.
@barnes_law 11) NO candidate, including Trump will get their vote by supporting the Uke war in any way, shape, or form.
12) They see the ChiComs as a bigger threat than the Russkies because the ChiComs, not the Russkies, are taking their jobs.
13) When fraud occurs & the GOP doesn't . . .
@barnes_law 13) contd . . . fight it, they don't blame Trump. They see him as the VICTIM. They blame the GOP.
14) While J.D. Vance went to Harvard, he eats at Cracker Barrel and thus has credibility. Minion Romney does not.
@barnes_law 15) They certainly support fighting against woke sexual perversions. And they strongly support the Wall.
14) But when they see candidates getting a lot of money from corporate elites, they immediately revert to skepticism.
15) Trump on the other hand doesn't need that $.
@barnes_law 16) These voters remember that Trump
*Pulled us out of the TPP that threatened to destroy American industry forever.
*Refused to sign the Paris Accord (ditto)
*Started building the Wall, the first in history.
*Willingly met with Pootie-poot and Little Rocket Man.
@barnes_law *Danced with the Saudis and got lower oil prices for it.
*Spoke highly of the military and showed it off but rarely if ever actually used it.
*Insisted that foreign nations bend the knee to US, not vice versa.
*Despite a Wharton education, never appeared to be "Ivy League"
@barnes_law 17) While I totally support Florida divesting from Black Rock, that is an abstract to these voters. Trump knew how to act in ways that were immediately apprehended.
@barnes_law 18) In short, perceptions are everything, and the industrial-state Trump voters who hate Republicans will NOT perceive of other candidates as being in their corner. They will stay home. You will never offset them with Lockdown Suburban Karens.

The end.

1) Getting a lot of post mortems. One I just looked at said abortion was an issue, but the biggest problem was that with early voting, 41% of Ds & a lot of Is made up their minds early in the process. 48% of ALL said "woke" culture is a problem.

BUT . . .
2) Very concerning, Social Security was in the top 4 issues for indies.

3) It is clear that DemoKKKrats actually sold that SS was under attack. Rs either did not respond or responded way too late.

(WPA Intelligence Poll)
4) Further, I heard Tudor Dixon on Clay & Buck. BIG problem with GOP funders. She said many would wait saying, "let's see how she does" before putting in $$ while Ds say "let's guarantee our guy/gal does well" by putting in $$ early.

1) Let me clear up some of the absolute lies about the Fuentes Mar-a-Lago dinner.

2) I have held a secret military clearance.

3) I have spent over an hour and a half in the Oval Office speaking with President Bush.

4) I have been security cleared on another occasion for W.
5) On such visits/dinners, whatever, the President quite often has no idea who is "out there." His aides set up an event. "Mr. President, at 3:00 you'll meet with the Poughkeepsie Children's choir, who will sing a song. A 6:00 you have a dinner with the Boisie CoC."
6) When I was invited to the Oval Office by a lower level aide, they ran my (already secret) clearance. I was with four other historians---supposedly "military" historians. But other than the great John Keegan and Victor Davis Hanson, none of us were mil historians.

1) @barnes_law and the Trump voter.
Digging into the data from the 2022 election reveals what Richard Baris, The People’s Pundit, polls revealed: a group of independent, working-class, northern voters only interested in voting for Trump.
@barnes_law 2) Trump ran ahead, often way ahead, of Republican candidates in these swing states in 2022 polling.
3) These voters derive from two separate camps: first, ex-GOP voters in rural areas and small towns who left the party after the twin debacles of the Bush Sr. & Jr. presidencies;
@barnes_law 3) contd . . . and second, ex-Dem voters in industrial towns who gave up on their ancestral party under or after Obama. Many just quit voting all together. They came out in 2016. They came out again in 2020. But they skipped 2018 & appear many skipped again in 2022.

1) So far, DeSantis has cleverly said nothing in all of this. Some of you may think this is smart, that he is "staying above the fray."

We can see the slithering little creatures in the background trying to align all these pols behind DeSantis. Donalds is just the latest.
2) DeSantis could have put a stop to all this junk and stopped the "civil war" a week ago by announcing his total support for Trump 24 and telling his acolytes to lay off.

3) This is a poor choice on his part. He will find himself like a minor kingdome between . . .
3) contd . . . Napoleon and the Seventh Coaltion---unable to stop either side and crushed beneath.

4) By not speaking up now, he is screaming. It won't matter what excuses he offers later. The damage will have been done.

1) Folks this was inevitable. Trump fired a shot across DeSantis's bow. For four or five months RDS has allowed/encouraged his supporters to wage a "Trump's so yesterday" kind of campaign on Twit, on talk shows, and in social media.
2) No, RDS himself has not said anything but his minions were absolutely doing his bidding with his blessing.

3) We all wish it wouldn't happen. I don't think RDS should be veep cuz he's too good at gov and I want him for Pres after Trump. BUT . . .
4) You can only poke the bear for so long.

5) Now, as I say, this was only a warning to STFU and tell all your little squattlechickens to back off.

6) History shows that these differences can be bridged quickly, i.e., Reagan and GHWB.

7) But I hope RDS was listening . . .

1) A few life realities as of today:
Republicans nationally are around +6 to +8 but it's trending toward 8
2) ALL DemoKKKrats, despite what they say, know a bloodbath is coming.
3) This will be all down the line from county commissioners to dog catchers.
4) The flip of state houses and governorships will have massive implications for rolling back the Deep State, election integrity, and abortion.
5) McCarthy and Yertle WILL be in so-called "leadership."
6) They ain't gonna be leading anything. All leadership will be carried . . .
6) contd . . . out by the committee chairs and, in the senate, by the new MAGA caucus that will comprise about 10-15% of senators with another 5-10% affiliated. This block will, for the most part, be unmanageable by Yertle.

7) He will negotiate with them for everything.
