My fellow students, this blind conformity needs to end.
As our numbers grow, as we get louder and louder, and as we stand together to demand that our rights be respected - the more undeniable we are.
This isn’t about a mask. This is about our fundamental rights; our freedom.
We are free-thinking adults.
We should be able to make our own decisions
The disrespect and entitlement on display by universities towards the students is insulting.
These mandates survive under the guise of “keeping everyone safe.”
We are WAY past that. Respect our rights!
In todays class, we asked the teacher why she decided to out us to the Dean of Students by name…
We were informed that the Dean had requested an update on what I was up to every class.
I asked her how she was enforcing a policy that she didn’t even know the guidelines of.
Then…stuff got heated.
A friend of mine sat down wearing a red bandana, and she proceeded to tell him that he had to wear a mask. I stood up and said that she can’t bully my classmates. EVER.
She’s doing the bidding for an administration that only cares about funding.
Interesting class to say the least…
Funny enough, I used todays readings to call her out for keeping tabs on me, and bullying and threatening my classmates into conformity.
Told her that she was doing something extremely unethical, and that people will not forget.
