Keigo clutched Touya's hand tightly, knowing that it probably hurt but he couldn't stop.

He breathed in through his nose and out of his mouth but the pain still wasn't gone yet.

The chest pain still came in waves.

"You should go back and get your

money back," Touya said and Keigo shot him a look.

"So /not/ what I'm worried about right- ah!, fuck, /fuck/" he cried, clutching at his chest, trying to remember to breathe.

"Kei?" Touya asked and Keigo let out a long breath.

"Fine, it's fine," he said, loosening his grip

as the pain faded momentarily. "It'll go away."

"Are you sure?" Touya asked and Keigo shot him another look, his jaw clenched.

Keigo winced as a smaller wave of pain passed, "hand me the water," he said, taking a long sip when his boyfriend handed it to him.

"It's all because of caffeine?" Touya asked and Keigo's talons shot out in annoyance.

"Please, please my love, stop asking stupid fucking questions," he snapped, closing his eyes and pressing his head to Touya's shoulder, "it fucking /hurts/," he whispered.

There was a reason he always asked for decaf everything. Why he didn't eat chocolate and why he never drank soda.

Caffeine was a bitch to birds- even human birds.

"I'm sorry sweetheart," Touya muttered, kissing the top of his head. He suppressed the urge to kill the barista

who gave Keigo the wrong drink, "what can I do?"

"Just stay with me," Keigo said, finally just giving in a climbing into Touya's lap, wrapping his legs around his waist.

"alright pretty bird," Touya said, running his hand up and down Keigo's back as he flinched from the pain

in his chest. "I can do that."
