Keigo did not wake up in the bed that he remembered falling asleep in. There was no warm body next to him, holding onto him like there was every night since he and his partner moved in together.

Maybe that was what woke him up. He'd never been a great sleeper, and ever since he was held, he couldn't fall or stay asleep with it.

Keigo clutched Touya's hand tightly, knowing that it probably hurt but he couldn't stop.

He breathed in through his nose and out of his mouth but the pain still wasn't gone yet.

The chest pain still came in waves.

"You should go back and get your money back," Touya said and Keigo shot him a look.

"So /not/ what I'm worried about right- ah!, fuck, /fuck/" he cried, clutching at his chest, trying to remember to breathe.

"Kei?" Touya asked and Keigo let out a long breath.

"Fine, it's fine," he said, loosening his grip

Hawks wasn’t sure at what point Dabi had stopped attacking him and began attacking Keigo but all he could was stand there and take it.

Because he made a promise not to attack Touya and Touya was all he knew.

He went silent though he knew Dabi didn’t notice or care.

“Worthless,” Dabi screamed and Keigo tried not to flinch, “I dont know why you even bother to come here if you’re going to do absolutely nothing!” He yelled and maybe he had a bad day.

Rather, in the sea of bad days this one was worse.
