🧵Want proof that @lapublichealth planned mask mandate for Los Angeles County is unjustified? Last July Ferrer tried to mandate masks when we were in “high” transmission. We fought back & said NO. She backed off. What happened? Did millions die? NO - without masks, it went away
What happened last July, where we saw how COVID cases NATURALLY plummet after a peak, is SCIENTIFIC proof that mask mandates aren’t needed. Had Ferrer masked us, she would have taken credit, claiming that it’s proof that her useless mandate worked! But instead, we know it doesn’t
So how we have evidence how, in LA County, COVID cases plummet after a surge/spike, WHETHER OR NOT mask mandates exists. This, more than anything else, proves that these mandates are FUTILE and, in fact, harmful, particularly to healthy kids who have 0 statistical risk of death.
For those Covidians who will say “Oh but we had a lot of long COVID because we didn’t mask” I say this: SHOW THE PROOF. Without solid proof, that’s just a hypothesis or a wish, nothing else. But from the overwhelming evidence we have IN OUR OWN POPULATION, mask mandates fail.
🧵The same people who censored the Hunter laptop story weaponized social media to discredit @gbdeclaration authors @DrJBhattacharya@MartinKulldorff@SunetraGupta in order to silence them and attempt to destroy their careers. That backfired & now they’re being exposed. @elonmusk
Now that @Twitter collaboration has been exposed, we must do the same with @Apple@facebook@Meta@Google & others. If @elonmusk can’t afford to buy them (yet) @GOPLeader@HouseGOP must hold hearings & subpoena people AND documents. This impacts our Constitution not just politics
@KevinKileyCA Once you’re sworn in, I pray that you help lead this effort as a representative of a state most impacted by censorship and authoritarianism in the name of “COVID”. I’m always here to help and I know most others will help as well.
The incompetent @lapublichealth Director Ferrer is threatening to join China as one of the only places forcibly muzzling its people. She tried in July and this video shows how we stopped her by exposing her fraud. We must stop this lunacy and have her fired once and for all.
🧵 It appears that many remain unaware of the basic principles of medical ethics. So I’m writing this thread as Dr Hemmati’s Medical Ethics 101, Twitter Style, to educate people about what ought to be obvious. Note that I’m a professional pediatric Phase 3 clinical researcher…
Principle 1: you cannot administer or even recommend a medical treatment, including a vaccine, without full informed consent from adults, or parents, and assent in the case of children who can understand.
Principle 2: informed consent, requires a thorough understanding of the risks, benefits, and alternatives to that medical treatment. Alternatives could include NO treatment. It must be given in a manner that the patient can fully comprehend.
Sorry @ProfEmilyOster - you get no “pandemic amnesty” - it’s unforgivable to knowingly inflict irreparable harm against so many people, particularly poor and kids, and then say you didn’t know better back then. Don’t rewrite history. Be accountable. theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…
You know what the best “pandemic amnesty” would be @ProfEmilyOster ? In one week, to vote out EVERY school board member, councilmember, Governor, congressman, senator who enacted policies that would obviously harm. Who mandated/shamed/belittled. Call for that & get your amnesty.
But @ProfEmilyOster if you ask for forgiveness without true atonement or accountability, you’ll never be forgiven. Instead, all the people who CONTINUE to treat anyone who simply questions forced “COVID protection” will end up in history’s trash bin. You decide. Vote them out.
I demand that Senator @DrPanMD immediately take down his uncalled-for, slanderous assault against @DrJBhattacharya whose only crime has been to successfully challenge Senator/Dr Pan. Pan is frustrated that even with #AB2098, he can’t silence Prof. B because no license to revoke!
Senator @DrPanMD I respectfully ask you to engage in a 1:1 debate against Prof. @DrJBhattacharya, in person, on the science and rationale behind your policy proposals. You hold great power and with it comes immense responsibility to defend policies and LISTEN to dissenting voices
Moreover, Sen. @DrPanMD: we live in a democracy where we have a protected right to speak and participate in the process. There is no requirement to have an active license to comment on the ethics/illegality of a law. You vote on non-medical issues, don’t you?
