Final defense bill "includes House provision w/an amdt that would prohibit the Sec. of Defense from knowingly permitting the sale of products mined, produced, or manufactured by forced labor from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region at commissary stores or military exchanges."
Final defense programs & policy bill also authorizes up to $10 billion in security assistance over the next five years “to modernize Taiwan’s security capabilities to deter and, if necessary, defeat aggression by the People’s Republic of China.”
