I lost 70eth when I was using the new bidding system of @blur_io

Fat fingers and lack of sleep in web3, made this tragedy happen. However, it would avoid if it has a good UI/UX

I’m not going to complain but want to give my advice and make the web3 world better.

I’m excited about the @blur_io airdrop 3

I deposited 140+ eth to the pool and picked some collections to bid

To maximise my $BLUR points, I bid on all funds in each collection. The price is lower than the floor and fair enough to buy for Kubz prize, my coming project:

After a few bids, @blur_io displayed an error saying my balance is not enough to bid.

I want to check my balance, but the alert box covers the balance area. After a few clicks, I saw my balance dropped 70eth. At that moment, I just thought my BAYC offer might be accepted.

When I check my activity, WTF, I bought an @artgobblers at 70ETH

I found there was another valid 70ETH offer, so I removed it immediately. ATM, the buyer was buying a new @artgobblers and wanted to take this offer as well, luckily I cancelled a few seconds before he robs.

1️⃣Auto zero when inputting a dot as the first character

I'm not the only victim of this glitch. When a user wants to input 0.1eth, if he enters a dot without zero, it becomes 1eth.

2️⃣Disable the PLACE BID button when the price is higher than the floor

A warning is not enough, 99% of people ignore warnings.
Place a high bid must be a mistake in a collection bid.
Don't warn, just stop. The user must appreciate it. @blur_io

3️⃣Move away the popup message from the important information, dismiss after 5s @blur_io

Don't cover the balance, every second is important when we make a mistake. If we can aware of the abnormal balance drop earlier, we can stop further loss.

I suggest @blur_io can set up a fund. Allocate a percentage of $BLUR, case by case to compensate the victims who get a loss when using your platform. Good tech is not enough to capture the market, but royalty can defeat your competitors.
