SitRep - 07/12 - Russia going all-in around Bakhmut
An overview of daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Today a relatively quiet day, in which a lot happened in and around Bakhmut. Russia seems to want to go all in there and force a breakthrough at all costs.

Over to the general events. The Howard Buffett Foundation buys generators for Ukraine for $30 million. The first batch arrives next week, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said. He added that the Netherlands also provided 26 heavy duty transformers, spare parts and equipment
The US has preliminary agreed on the defense budget for 2023: at least 800 million dollars have been set aside for security assistance to Ukraine.
At the same time, this is not a final draft law — it still needs to be adopted by the Senate and the House of Representatives.
The USA made it clear to the German government that they support the supply of German Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine, if Berlin decides to do it - Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
Russia placed an order with Iran for a new batch of weapons, including hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones - reports ZEIT, citing UN sources.
"I don't think they've shipped yet, but they're definitely on the order books," a source in New York said.
NATO countries are considering using funds from a fund previously used to support Afghan security forces to help Ukraine, Politico, citing five Western sources
Germany announced another future transfer of military aid for Ukraine. Not all will be transported immediately
France delivered MO-120-RT61 towed mortars to Ukraine, according to information from The Telegraph, they are now used in the Bakhmut direction.
US Senate will consider a resolution recognizing the actions of 🇷🇺 as genocide against the Ukrainian people.
The document also supports tribunals and international criminal investigations to hold 🇷🇺political leaders and military personnel accountable for war crimes and genocide
More and more aid on the way to Ukraine. There is absolutely no pause in the amounts that are sent to Ukraine. That is promising. Europe won't back down.

➡️Battles in Avdiivka and Maryinka are heavy. Russia is using 9M22S incendiary rockets on Avdiivka to force a breakthrough.

➡️Fighting is still south of Kreminna in Serebryanskyy forest where AFU has a foothold.
