To be clear, the United States government colluded with Twitter to ban a sitting professor of medicine @DrJBhattacharya simply for having a dissenting, cogent view that ran counter to the establishment narrative. This is a watershed moment, for all of biological sciences. 1/

6/ Perhaps most ignominious of this prolonged morass is the behavior of big technology to enable the character assasination, shadow banning and silencing of upstanding medical scientists like @DrJBhattacharya . Let this be an inflection point on which the cowards see the truth.

7/ And speak out in support of pure science. The scientific method, data, dissenting views, academic debate, the mutual respect for a system that has thrived upon trust and comraderie for decades is now a toxic pile of waste. It is for the scientific and tech community to right

4/ attack on free speech and academic scientific debate is one never before witnesses in modern academia. The use of Twitter to shadow ban an esteemed medical scientist should send shivers down the spine of every professional in the space. It opens a Pandora’s box of censorship.

5/ Where does this go? If the USG can collude with big tech to censor a Stanford professor, who else is being shadow banned? Until @elonmusk bought the platform they had no problem lying with a straight face about it. “We do not shadow ban particularly wrt political ideology…”

6/ However this has nothing to do with the political leanings of @DrJBhattacharya . It has to do with his @gbdeclaration hypothesis that the lockdowns would cause more harm than help the population. Because he is not beholden to NIH funding or Pfizer bribes, @DrJBhattacharya

7/ was punished for telling the truth. This is a very scary paradigm, as there is no referee or control mechanism for the protection of dissenting views. This in a country that is supposed to be the very definition of “democracy”. How sad. Really, how sad. Gestapo behavior.

8/ Wait, there’s more. It turns out that in a recent deposition by state AGs the high “pope” of science Dr. Anthony Fauci finally admitted that his daughter worked at Twitter during the pandemic. Now most of us are not naive. This back channel was just one of several USG embeds.

Fauci’s daughter, Ex FBI counsel Jim Baker who was fired this week after trying to suppress files to @bariweiss and @mtaibbi, and several others USG intelligence officers now are embedded at Twitter. They shape the narrative, and ban dissenting views that run counter to USG.

10/ The collusion between Twitter and the USG to silence the scientifically accurate views and express alternative approaches to tackling a population issue is a travesty and a crime. It is more than mere censorship. It is an attack on science writ large. Wake. Up.
