Day 3: #ashramjyotishbootcamp : mind awake and body awake, now divide and plan your day into 3 parts: sunrise to mid-day, mid-day to sunset, sunset to sunrise. What we’re doing is honoring Surya. As astrologers, we know that Surya is our default Athmakaraka before any other graha
2/n: It’s important to plan the day before anything else. As astrologers, we study Time. We study divisions of time and even more minute sub-divisions of Time. We have to understand our subject and rhythm of its march. We must be able to recognize the quality of each unit of time
3/n: in fact, we must plan all divisions of time. Other than eons and yugas..years and months, as astrologers we see time with pancha-angas: Vara, Thithi, Nakshatra, Karana and Yoga. Do you know how to read the Panchang?
4/n: as an assignment: Plan tomorrow after you wake up till sunset. Learn how to interpret from Panchang. 15 minutes of Surya Siddhanta everyday as required daily reading. It’s a lot. 15 mts a day would do and chew on it. It’s in scribd and on kindle too. As well as paper books.

The minute we are born, we start walking towards our death. This soul had the vasana of a past life that if when born in a different faith was attached to past life’s passion. Now she is released from karma and that desire. She had a family and five children. Om Shanti 🙏
Anything you have an attachment to..esp when it comes to skill/arts/obsessive interest, Rahu or Mercury will be involved. Rahu..obviously..because he is obsession and it comes from past life. But why Mercury? It’s not just because it’s skill/hobby for which Me is karaka 1/n
2/n Mercury is the threshold of our life..beginning of the soul’s journey. Aries is where soul detaches in Ashwini and gets cut off in Krittika. Taurus is the realm of creativity and mind stuff. Rohini resides here and deity is Brahma. A wild search starts in Gemini..it’s frantic
Annapoorani Devi. Once upon a time, Shiva and Parvati were playing a game of dice in Kailasha. There was no prize for what can be valuable to Jagannatha and Jaganmatha. But Shiva..feeling bored..said that it would be more interesting to wager something.
2/n: Amba ..being sensible..did not want to gamble or wager, but decided to play along. What do you have that I don’t already have..she asked Mahadeva. Shiva winked and offered her his trident. Three pointed and the most feared weapon as it belonged to the God of Destruction.
3/n Devi rolled her eyes and then the dice. She won. Obvi. Shiva handed over his Trident. As the Bhuta Ganas tittered, he wanted to win it back and suggested they play another game. Ma Parvati agreed and off they went. But he had to wager something he possessed. But..
jyotishbootcamp.substack.com/p/nakshatra-bo… : Last moon cycle when Punarvasu was recorded..uploaded today. I checked quality before adding to Substack and here is a reason why maintaining a Nakshatra journal is important 👇🏼
Right at the beginning, I mention the previous day’s Ardra session. I remember that day. The CH recording was off because no signal and I had to do it from inside my car. But I had a feeling and recorded it on my tablet anyways. I was impatient that day and didn’t continue Q/A.
The same thing happened last night with a dumbass interaction on Twitter. I caught it and am on a mouna vrtham today.(making a Twitter exception to upload Substack and this) So..clearly, I am impatient on Ardra. That’s obviously the day’s energy. And that interacts with my chart.
