To those who were nominated for Snowzzie Awards this year but did not win — such as the CDC, Moderna, the US Supreme Court, the APHA, the IDSA, Bonnie Henry, Ken Paxton, Jesse Singal, LibsofTikTok, Nate Silver, Vinay Prasad, and Aseem Malhotra — please do not try again next year.
Breaking: things are moving very fast right now at @PesteMagazine headquarters, but early indications are there is a TIE for the Public Health Disservice Award for Achievement in Disservice by a Group or Organization aka The Clown Car Award. Who do you think the winners are?
Competition for The Clown Car Award was particularly fierce. Moderna, as expected, was nominated for its relentless covid profiteering, including suing Pfizer. pestemag.com/the-costs-of-l…
When you hear the words Clown Car who doesn't picture the Supreme Court of the United States? They were nominated for the Public Health Disservice Award for overturning Roe v. Wade, which ended the constitutional right to abortion.
He ridicules people for trying to protect themselves from covid. He demanded a RCT for masks and even ivermectin in the year 2022. He is for open schools and against vaccines for children. And he's a nominee for this year's Public Health Disservice Awards. He's Vinay Prasad.
Note: While Dr. Prasad ridicules people, he also blocks people for any criticism, including people like me, someone who has been dead for more than 160 years. Thus, what follows are screenshots from an unblocked editor at @PesteMagazine.
In 2022, Prasad called for RCTs for all variations of masking and even ivermectin.
The Public Health Disservice Awards aka The Snowzzies will be announced tomorrow starting at 9am est @PesteMagazine.

They called masking kids "child abuse." They spread dangerous lies about Boston Children's Hospital. And just hours after the Club Q shooting, they posted details of another drag show in Colorado. They are nominated for a Public Health Disservice Award. They are the LibsofTikTok.
Though non-public health professionals, LibsofTikTok has been consistent in their disservice to public health. Here, a representative anti-mask post.
Hours after the deadly mass shooting at Club Q, LibsofTikTok decided that was the time to yet again post to more than 1.6 million followers the details of a drag show.
He called covid levels "benign-ish." He said it was "a lot to ask" everyone on a plane to wear a mask to protect "a small number of babies." He even mocked his wife for wearing one. And he's a nominee for this year's Public Health Disservice Awards. He's Bob Wachter.
Meet Snowzzie Award nominee Bob Wachter. Some of his very worst work. Here, referring to Bay Area covid-levels as "benign-ish."
Should you wear a mask on a plane to "protect a small number of babies"? Bob Wachter has opinions and he decided to log on to share them.
