Of course, before that the Brown Panted ones gave their traditional salute to the Indian Army .. here's a video of the same! #VijayDiwas #PakistanSurrenderDay
This cherished flag of the Brown Panted Ones does make its appearances in a large number of instances & circumstances even today, just so that they stay current with their most practiced war maneuver - Run Away, or if unable to do so, Surrender! #VijayDiwas #PakistanSurrenderDay
Not just content with practicing with their Army Flag, they even go attack the terrorists within their own borders so that their troops can stay current with their .. err .. surrender drills! #VijayDiwas #PakistanSurrenderDay
^^
For anyone finding it hard to believe what they see in the video above, here's a report from one of their own media houses.
THREE HUNDRED soldiers and not one shot fired!
Yup, it happens far more often than you would like to believe! #VijayDiwas #PakistanSurrenderDay

This day in 1999, a young Captain by the name of Manoj Kumar Pandey was going gung ho, clearing Paakis in Khalubar.
Little would he have have known that he had just about 43 days more in this world, before he attained martyrdom, and with it, immortal fame ..
He led the most difficult tasks assigned to 1/11 Gorkha Rifles in the war, with full confidence in his fellow Gorkhas to deliver.
Here is a letter he wrote from the battlefield to a friend.

So yesterday was the second anniversary of the day an Indian Brahmos landed up in Mian Channu in Bhikharistan. In light of the same, replugging a short thread I did in the immediate aftermath of that.
Here goes!
Folks, sharing some thoughts on the recent trip of a not so distant cousin of Shri Brahmos Ji to the Land of the Pure.
Let's see how this one goes ..
But first let me just write the phrase "Brown Pants", so that now Shri Viveek Agrawal Ji can also read this thread.
Ok, here goes ..
Here's wishing Happy #WalongDay to the heroes of 6 KUMAON.
They went to their deaths heroically & steadfastly, without any fuss, this day in 1962. Just so that a General could please a PM on his birthday.
This day in 1962 - The only attack of the war by Indian army was launched - As a birthday gift from a General to a PM.
A heavy price was paid by the Kumaonis of 6 Kumaon that night.
#WalongDay
Denied even one extra day to prepare for the attack, they went in as ordered. Out of the over 200 men that had gone into the attack, only 90 returned.

A thousand years old Varun Dev Mandir in Manora Island beach Karachi - Being used by Pakistan as a toilet for tourists.
Looks like the tweet above has generated quite some discussion. Apparently, the temple is no longer being utilized as a public toilet for some time now.
That said, replugging a thread tweeted some years back with the hashtag #PakistanAgainstMinorities, chronicling systemic hatred
#PakistanAgainstMinorities
A really interesting interpretation of their flag!
