This is like being transported to the year 1908 when Henry Ford introduced the T-ford

If we had Twitter then, all the millions of coachmans (Horse and carriage drivers)

Would have been out and about yelling about how cars should be illegal, and it's stealing their jobs, etc.
I understand the frustration with artists that are labeled in datasets and their work being used to train machines. I get it, really I do.

The reality is way different, in a very short amount of time (on a human scale)...
Most of the things that require AI to be trained on billions of parameters, will be able to train on a very small set of data.

It's like mathematicians in Florence, being mad at the calculator or the computer itself for that reason.

Full on in on ChatGPT now.
I’m using as much as I Google.

It’s such a nice persona too.
Solved my problem in a few seconds.

Copy into notes, made a task list, hit the store. All in all saved me a good 30min of planning.

I think that just being exposed to these new tools, building with them and just staying humble to new tech puts me in a good position in general.

My parents where afraid of the iPhone when it came, took 10 years to get them comfortable with the tech.
Changes will happen so fast now, that by the time people that are afraid of AI today gets around to it.

The rest of us are already living with the next thing.

If you don’t buckle up and are willing to embrace change. You’ll be left behind. Big time.
