Augh. Sewer backup. #CFLife
2/ Thanks all for advice, but DH is the master of all trades. Blocked to street but opening cleanout and routing to hopefully solve....It's a CF thing...as natural enzymes can't get out of pancreas b/c of thick mucus clogging so....it makes for 💩situation at times.
3/ DS's made I didn't credit him with the joke and that I used an emoji. So, h/t DS, and discussion later on inappropriate teenager language.
💀DH when I pushed for solution he said wouldn’t work & why: “stop reading your Twitter feed and keep in mind they might just want to see you covered with shit.”

Having slept on it, I'm not confused, I'm PISSED! The supposed standard-bearers of journalism have screamed for years that speech is violence & remained silent when Twitter 1.0 banned journalists for saying male was male & not female, but when journalists post 1/
2/ link that is actually dangerous--as shown by prior days assault of 2 year old son--providing real-time info that allows for tracking of @elonmusk and Twitter 2.0 suspends, they are both outraged & acting like it's a joke. Assaulting 2 year old son of someone you disagree with
3/ is NOT a joke! It isn't funny. It isn't something to "come at" Musk with. It isn't something to prove a point about. But you know what is worth proving a point about: Twitter 1.0 censoring important news about Joe Biden's 40 year old son & political corruption.

I found this paper by @Will_Duffield on "jawboning," or "Government officials use [of] informal pressure — bullying, threatening, and cajoling — to sway the decisions of private platforms and limit the publication of disfavored speech," for @CatoInstitute extremely valuable. 1/
2/ I'll likely expand in an article at some point more thoughts, but what struck me most is that there is "no solution" but that amazingly @elonmusk is the best counter: transparency & promotion of free speech. House should also adopt rule prohibiting members from jawboning.
3/ but bigger picture the problem is Americans no long value free speech & thus "censorship" of speech I don't like is not only demanded but expected. Also struck me that reason for huge leftist backlash again Musk is b/c he is doing something gov't can't do--force Twitter
