Being rude about it is the height of arrogant hubris.
One of the pieces of information I learned was that the convoy was populated by far right and far left leaders and a lot of moderates who have bought the propaganda the extremists are gaslighting them with.
So unless you know whether the person asking is a radicalized extremist or a deluded moderate confused by disinformation, why stir up a hornet’s nest? Because that’s all people are accomplishing.
Who are these people using rude ad hominem and accusations of stupidity?
I’ll tell you who they are. They’re either extremists themselves or part of the operatives kicking a hornets nest before the report is tabled.
Get people so overwhelmed with negative emotions and they cannot hear what the judge finds. They just listen to their team’s leaders.
To prevent people from falling into that trap, one does not call the targeted audience how stupid they are. One informs the audience the facts laid bare and reminds people a non partisan judge is reviewing the matter.
There is no doubt mistakes were made at every level.
There will be confirmations of liberal decisions that were not helpful. There will be confirmations that conservatives decisions were not helpful. And there will be acknowledgement that far left is active in Canadian politics and radicalizing progressives.
But none of us knows what the Judge will determine until we read the report. Guessing what that information might be while disrespecting opposition with contemptible commentary is not helpful.
But it is exactly what radicalized extremists want.
I swear a little info is dangerous in the hands of people who have no clue how to assess and decide truth.
Don’t be the mark in the extremist’s grift. Be smarter than the average radicalized anarchist creating as much animosity as possible before the official report comes.
Please don’t get sucked in to spreading negativity in an ever expanding swamp.
Honestly, are people this gullible and foolish to play with fire and then believe they won’t get burned horrifically?
Do not engage with extremists. If people who attended the convoy don’t know why Trudeau didn’t meet with them, they don’t want to accept the rationale our PMJT made during his testimony. Nothing you say or do is going to change that.
Especially calling the questioner stupid, an extremist or a fool.
Regardless of your partisan bent, people generally tune out when you call them stupid, an irrational radical or politically unaware.
People shouldn’t have to remind people of this.
Where on earth is it helpful to call people names when you don’t agree with their politics? That would be nowhere.
Isn’t that what Elmo just did. Used his power to abuse others for disagreeing with his gaslighting excuses.
How is what the questioner doing any different?
It’s not. It’s the same qualitatively as Elmo’s choice.
Which smells like set up to me.
Hypocrites are vilified by people with principles.
Calling people who did not behave violently stupid, radical or foolish becomes a further attack on those participants who were extreme.
Stop giving them behaviour to complain about. This continues because extremes continue to kick hornets nests. Hornets bite everyone.
The negativity being generated is toxic. That’s the koolaid. If you add to the toxicity, you’re drinking their koolaid.
Stop drinking the damn radicalizing koolaid.
This is how it’s done. Radicalization, I mean.
When your brain stem is doing all the reacting to opposition commentary rather than your frontal lobe and critical thinking, you’ve been radicalized.
How does one tell if they’ve been radicalized?
Give a rational logical explanation for your personal intense feelings towards opposition. Unless you can articulate a specific rationale & how it impacts you directly, you can assume you’re radicalized and drunk on koolaid.
Radicalized people cannot describe their own rationale. Because the brain stem (where emotions are out of your control using rational thought) reside. If you can’t speak about opposition w/o sneering, contempt dripping from your lips & rage welling up within, you’re radicalized.
That’s the first clue. When you respond to people asking stupid questions by attacking them personally, you’ve been radicalized.
The alternative is you haven’t matured beyond raging teenager mentality. Which still makes you an extremist. Teens are known for their drama.
You can be 60 years old and still act like a teen. If you haven’t grown up and matured, you are a radical and extremist & really shouldn’t be included in adult conversations because you aren’t capable of critical thinking.
It’s basic adulting. We don’t call others nasty names.
Try not to head into Christmas dinner/seasonal visiting with the family while you’re frothing at the mouth in rage.
Typically the crazy uncles are the only radicalized extremists to avoid. Don’t take over their role. Be better than a crazy uncle.
Ignore the provocations of grifters.
Yosemite Sam rage is humour. We laughed at people that couldn’t control their emotions. We didn’t vote for them or aim to become them. God forbid!

How else can UCP tell regular Albertans that they don’t matter and the only ones who do matter are rural Christian Dominionists and Q’Anon convoy supporters?
I feel pity for those who like rodeo. They are being vilified for their enjoyment of abuse of animals.
Rodeos are not that bad actually. Roping calves, bull riding, barrel racing. Those are all fun and exciting. The calf isn’t actually hurt. It’s just roped and another smaller rope is tied around it’s legs to keep it in place for a few moments. Bill riding does seem kind of silly.
We are all socialized to expect our government to prioritize protecting us that we can’t envision a world where they don’t and actually try to make us sick.
Those who can see clearly are labelled conspiracists because the average person doesn’t understand how policy works.
The public can’t fathom the possibility of an evil sadistic conspiracy so they make excuses like the government is stupid and incompetent. It’s safer to believe that people who are harming you and your fellow citizens are lacking intelligence. It almost excuses the policy.
Which means Canadians can choose which healthcare system they want (public or private) by voicing support for the level of government they want in charge.
Do we privatize or remain public and universal.
If we choose universal healthcare, then inform your provincial govt. NOW!
Democracy ensures the people get to choose. We do NOT need an election to voice an opinion. We need to phone, email or write a letter to our premier or PM offering support and indication of our choice. Private or public healthcare.
It’s just a hell scape in Mariupol now. For all the religious propaganda that surrounds Dominionists, they have no respect for the faith of their sworn enemies.
If Liberal federal government gives in then the Canada Health Act is as good as dead, federal authority becomes redundant and provinces take the lead in deciding Canadian’s healthcare privatization.
If the Liberals dig in their heels, like they have up to this point, MSM will continue to ignore the fact that 8 provincial premiers are colluding to remove the Canada Health Act and open the door for private healthcare to replace universal public healthcare.
