Smith hadn’t provided prior witness statement so prosecutors asked for continuance to next week to prepare, otherwise they'd be going in blind

The jury listened to end of closings and got the case around 11:15 a.m.

Prosecutor Kathy Ta had the last word Thursday and showed the jury now deliberating Tory Lanez’s fate a chart that looked roughly like the one below

"The entire defense theory is that the reason Megan lied is because it was more convenient from a PR perspective...Make that make sense," Ta argued. "It would have been easier for her to say, 'My crazy assistant did this to me.' It is much harder for her to come out against Tory"
