We covered Veriscope installation in the previous Twitter🧵 & it's time to learn about the testing & onboarding processes.

So, let's dive straight into it 👀

2/ First, we will focus on the testing aspect:

There are two ways of testing the Veriscope API! These are :

Postman Collection ✅
Sandbox Environment ✅

Note: The testing stage will come only after downloading Veriscope 💡

3/ To begin testing, VASPs (read = crypto businesses) must log in to the Web application after downloading Veriscope. 

And then, VASPs can choose either the Postman Collection or Sandbox Environment to conduct testing.

4/ Now, let's discuss the Veriscope implementation process. It can be divided into four phases.

Installation ✅
Post ✅
Listen ✅
Respond ✅

5/ Phase 0 = Installation 🔋

This implementation phase takes around 30 minutes.

6/ Phase 1 = Post 📫 

This implementation phase takes less than 2 days 🗓 and takes only 2 steps:

Registration of VASP ✅
Request for verification ✅

Once done, the VASP will be visible On-chain ✅

7/ Phase 2 = Listen 🎧

This implementation phase takes less than 2 days, just like Phase 1 🗓

VASPs listen to attestations (~ secret messages with encoded user data & transactions) 📩

And then, VASPs engage with counterparty VASPs to receive relevant user data.

8/ Phase 3 = Respond 🔉

This implementation phase takes 2-3 weeks 🗓

After listening to attestations, VASPs can choose to respond if they own the wallet address.

They will have to share proof that they own the wallet & share relevant user data.

9/ That's it. With this, we have completed the Veriscope Campaign.

We have learned everything about Veriscope and how it solves the Travel Rule issue while protecting the user experience
