A thread of highlights from the Touhou Gartic Phone stream.🧵
A Yuyuko prompt turning into Merry, turning into Rumi, turning into Koishi #TouhouGarticPhone
A prompt of Reimu & Marisa becoming Marisa & Sanae.
"Toutetsu surfing on oil with a Spoon", becoming "Toutetsu thinking of Cirno".
"Marisa purifying Reimu from a curse" becoming "Reimu getting blown away by Final Master Spark.
"Momiji playing shogi" becoming "Suika turns into a shogi piece".
"Travel through Okinawa" somehow becoming "A green pig looks at a pineapple and a shrine by a beach".
"Lum and Yuugi" becoming "Yuugi with blue swimsuit and Sanae cosplaying as Lum", becoming "Sanae and Yuugi".
"Reimu destroying the Moriya Shrine" becoming "Reimu blowing up Luigi".
Patchouli's chest getting steadily larger in both prompts that utilizes her.
"Remi giving Patchy a swimsuit" becomes "Remi suggesting Patchy get a bigger bra", becomes "Remi suggesting Patchy get a bigger chest", becomes "Remi commenting on Patchy's chest getting big".
"Marisa and Patchouli out of breath after a midnight duel" becomes "Marisa meets a big chested Patchouli at night"becomes "Marisa staring at a large chested Patchouli", becomes "Without meaning to, Marisa created a Super Duper Large Chested Patchouli".
ZUN forgetting how to draw Daiyousei.
"Kaguya and Mokou going out on a date" becoming "Precious TeruMoko", becoming "Kaguya and Mokou French kissing", becoming "MokoKagu Kiss!".
ZUN interpretating "Kasen being in kabeshiri" (stuck in wall/wall butt, a common adult work trope, think "oh no, i'm stuck in this washing machine".) and taking it literally, giving Kasen a wall for a butt.
That's all the ones I thought were super notable. You can check out the stream archive at Beat.Mario's channel or ZUN's channel. youtube.com/@zun5469/strea…

I'm making a thread of all the illustrations ZUN and Kii-san made during last night's Stream. I'll be listing the prompts they got, what they drew, and their answers to the images they got.
Starting with ZUN.
Game 1, round 1.
ZUN's answer : ZUN bathing in Beer. #TouhouGarticPhone
Game 1, round 2.
ZUN's answer : Daiyousei drinking Coffee
(Wait, he saw Daiyousei and correctly identified her as Daiyousei this early in the stream but forgot what she looked like a few games later?).
Game 1, round 3.
The prompt ZUN got : Rumia, drooling.
I thought it'd be interesting to make a sequel to this thread, this time focusing on how characters refer to other people and how it informs the players of a character's personality as well as their relationship with other characters. A thread🧵.
Similar to how Japanese has multiple ways to refer to oneself, it also has multiple ways to refer to address others. Be it the different ways to say "you" with "貴方" (anata), "お前" (Omae), "君" (Kimi), "貴様" (kisama). cotoacademy.com/how-to-say-you…
Or the various honorifics that can be added to the end of a name, such as ~"さん" (san), ~"君" (kun), ~"様" (sama) and so on. All these various methods of referring to someone have differing levels of politeness as well as level of familiarity between individuals.
If you're wondering what this is about, a Pixiv executive committed workplace harassment and discrimination towards a transgender employee. This resulted in the employee suing Pixiv, as well as causing a number of users to delete/private their accounts to show support for her.
On the 27th of May, 2022, a Pixiv employee sued Pixiv for 5.5 million yen (about $40.000) for workplace harassment, stating that her boss, an executive at Pixiv, acted very inappropriately towards her.
