FUNGAL infections increase risk every year over the 2013 - 2016 average. Why?
COVID in an immunosuppressive virus that often leads to long term infection in organs including the brain.
COVID & AIDS are the leading cause of lymphocytopenia. This increases recurrent viral, bacterial or fungal infections and also increases the odds of cancers and autoimmune disorders.

msdmanuals.com/professional/h…
"HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 are different viruses. However, T lymphocyte deficiency or lymphocyte ineffectiveness and a “cytokine storm” due to the hyperinflammatory response of cells involved in the innate response, are characteristics of both"
"The cell cytokine profile resembles that of terminally exhausted CD8+ T cells with compromised cytotoxic activity, seen in patients chronically infected with HIV-1"

This states a difference is COVID doesn't persist but that's not true. It does persist. medsci.org/v19p1787.htm
Asymptomatic yet persistent infection in children's tonsils⬅️ suggest that lymphoid tissue can be a reservoir for COVID & may play an important role in community transmission.

➡️ CD123+dendritic cells were most infected cells followed by CD4 & CD8 T-cells
sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
➡️ Asymptomatic children may have persistent viral replication in their tonsils and contribute to transmission. ⬅️

Children may become silent spreaders between schools and homes. Students to siblings to new classrooms and so on driving transmission.

Two weeks of virtual learning after the holiday break makes sense. Prevents 10s of thousands of infections. Keeps immune systems stronger and significantly reduces exponential growth of the newest most contagious variant to date, the XBB.1.5 variant.
XBB.1.5 has a 194% growth advantage, based on the latest data.

Compare that to BQ.1.1 which has a 48% growth advantage. How is COVID Impacting the Immune System?

➡️ Immune Suppression Paves way for Organ Infection ⬅️

The evidence is in our faces.
If we choose to ignore it and send our children to schools with these variants when over 90% of the U.S. is seeing High or Substantial Transmission then that is our failure to protect the children, teachers, and everyone at risk in the community.
How will we start this new year?

Face our fear & the reality of the situation or turn our backs on children and everyone else.

Disability claims continue rise.
Cumulative excess deaths continues to increase.
Productivity is substantially reduced. Where will we draw the line?
"Productivity is down 4.1% on an annualized basis, the biggest decline since the government started keeping track of the number back in 1948."

npr.org/2022/10/07/112…
From the U.K.
"New UK disability claims double in past year, with fastest rise among teens"

"Figures show a sharp rise in inactivity in the labour market since 2019 linked to long-term sickness, including mental illness and nervous system disorders."

➡️ Immune Suppression Paves way for Organ Infection ⬅️

XBB.1.5 & whatever comes next continues to evolve, getting better at attacking & using our immune system against us, suppressing it for weeks,& months, increasing susceptibility to all pathogens.

COVID: An increasingly more efficient, airborne disease that can cause accelerated aging & lymphopenia. COVID can lead to vascular, neurological, musculoskeletal, immunological & cognitive dysfunction & increases the risk of cancers & autoimmune disorders.
HIV infects cells of the immune system which breaks it down, making it less competent over time. COVID infects the immune system & reinfects people faster than their immune system can recover.

Italy and China impose new restrictions on people boarding flights from China. The hypocrisy is out of control.
They cite a flight w/50% of passengers infected but this is nothing new. There are many flights like this everyday from everywhere. Singling out China is absurd.
Why do some flights arrive w/few infected but others w/20%- 60% infected, like reported by Denmark w/flights from South Africa?

"Dutch Health reported that 61 travelers from South Africa on a KLM flight tested positive for COVID"

"All airline passengers 2 years of age and older originating from China, Hong Kong or Macau will be required to get tested for Covid two days before their departure to the U.S." 1/
We should require that of everyone, arriving or departing .
> 91% of U.S. High or Substantial Transmission. Everyone should be required to isolate for 10 days after arrival. Starting day 7, take 2 negative tests 48 hours apart. If both negative, then isolation ends the 9th day.2/
The CDC is expanding its program that monitors travelers for new Covid variants to include airports in Los Angeles and Seattle. It's good but the U.S. sequences only 5% of cases & has zero restrictions on travelers. We aren't even reporting the new homegrown XBB.1.5

"Continuous immune reactions cause progressive telomerase inactivation leading to telomere shortening, when cells stop dividing, and replicative senescence occurs."

T.A.C.T. -- Concerning Variant Alert: XBB.1.5 tactnowinfo.substack.com/p/concerning-v…
XBB.1.5 has a huge growth advantage! After reviewing all the other data, this looks very concerning. It is spreading very fast in the NorthEast U.S. and gaining ground quickly.
Prevalence of XBB.1 in green tones. Note that XBB.1.5 is in most of the same places which shows XBB.1.5 is likely driving the surge in growth.
