#LetFreedomSing Our continent- AFRICA- is faced with many challenges as a result of years of pillage ,plunder impoverishment& dehumanisation by Chattel enSlavers, Colonialism, Imperialism, neo-colonialism,Ignorance, Indifference&greed. These are all worsened by bad leadership
#LetFreedomSing Talking about Africa requires constant& balanced nuancing,e.g.: 1. Slavery,Colonialism& African Leader's greed, corruption, incompetence & indifference 2. Ruling party excesses & failures versus opposition shortcomings 3. Poverty versus opportunity & innovation
#LetFreedomSing Africa faces a whole host of external risks posed by intrusive , extractivist and predatory behaviour of Former Colonial and Imperial Powers as well as Emerging powers from the East , Middle East and South . We cannot afford Simplistic Friends & Foes narratives
#LetFreedomSing The African Union and several African Regional Economic Communities face a triple challenge of : 1. Foreign funding dependency 2. Lack of clear strategies to deal with EU,USA,UK, France,Israel,China,UAE, Russia, Turkey, etc 3. Non-Pan African & weak Leadership
