She only "did that" because Trump had already approved the NG troops BEFORE J6.

The DC Mayor, Muriel Bowser, in addition to Nancy Pelosi, did not want the NG protecting the Capitol. Why?

The sham J6 committee tried to spin that Trump didn't properly authorize the National Guard (he did) so therefore he didn't adequately prepared, which would then mean it wasn't Pelosi's and Bowser's fault for declining the NG support.

The 10,000-20,000 National Guard troops approved by Donald Trump were made available "across America" and not just for the J6 protest. First time hearing that detail. I wonder what the other hotspots may have been. You can imagine they were heavily communist cities.

Another interesting exchange. It's rather obvious in this testimony that the sham J6 committee is primarily focused on issues well beyond the causes of J6. It's hard to see how any of this supports any legislative function. What is it they're so concerned with finding out?

The committee genuinely has no idea whether or not the phone call occurred. They're trying to claim it did based on something they read somewhere, supposedly. They are citing as potential fact something written somewhere that isn't required to be true, or in any way proven.

It seems like major pieces of the J6 committee's fictional narrative depends on these conversations not happening inside a SCIF and instead happening on cell phones. They think everyone does what they do. It's part of their worldview to believe everyone lies and breaks the law.

This is the problem with the J6 Committee building its entire case based on what Regime hacks Woodward and Costa wrote in a book and what they saw on television.

The committee had access to nearly 14,000 hours of unreleased security footage from that day. Why not release it?

They want Patel to testify about a quote of something he said on the news, but refuse to provide him the whole transcript of his comments so that he can gauge context.

And he's right. It IS an appropriate and fair request. How do they not have the full transcript to give him?

Also, why were these corporate franchise businesses boarded up? They knew something was going to happen? But Pelosi and Bowser refused to ensure the security of the city?

It's worth mentioning that his has happened throughout the testimony but also throughout the last 7.5 years of "Get Trump," often coming from Adam Schiff. He routinely claims certain narratives as facts and says they can be supported, but never are, proceeding as if they're true.

They never answer what Afghanistan and Somalia have to do with the scope of their sham committee. Naturally, they don't care about the rules of their illegitimate committee. It's worth pointing out how flagrantly they're ignoring them, though, while being called out for it.

Endless questions about a memo neither side can verify even exists.

What part of this story doesn't sound like it's made up from nothing?

I know it's getting repetitive, but it's shocking how little support they have in any of their lines of questioning. They're just trying to generate mistakes in answers so they can frame the testimony in a certain way when they present it to the public.

They were concerned about whether there was discussion of some way that Gina Haspel would've been removed as CIA Director and replaced with Kash Patel, which he doesn't even think was possible.

They are trying their best to get answers about classified information. Stuff that is far removed from J6. They just want stories about what was happening in the Trump administration, stuff that's classified, happening behind the scenes.

Why don't they have answers?

They wanted access to his personal phone numbers and his contacts.

Despite Patel sitting for four hours and answering all of the sham J6 committee's questions, they refuse to withdraw their subpoena or agree that Patel's responsibility to respond to the subpoena had been fulfilled. The committee wanted an open subpoena, indefinitely.

The committee wanted to be able to compel Kash to appear and testify at any point.

So there it is. A lot of leading questions, a lot of speculation, a lot of probing for answers to questions about information that may or may not be true.

Surprisingly little, relatively speaking, that had to do with J6. Mostly questions about what else was going on.

A lot of attempts to narrative build and support what the fake news media had already attempted to solidify.

A disastrous performance by the J6 clownshow and a real stain on the country. This is not the sort of thing that should happen in a functioning Republic.

The most interesting moments are when the committee is probing about almost esoteric issues - operations totally unrelated to J6, stories we were told were conspiracies, characters like Lindell, Ezra Cohen Watnick, Charles Flynn, etc...

Genuinely entertaining, informative read.
