Shelling locations reported by UA general staff today. As can be seen here, even if there are rumors of RuAF having some ammo issues, they still have enough to harass the civilian population around Kherson and Kharkiv city.
Weather by @davidhelms570
A bit of rain/snow expected at the end of the first week of the year.
Keep in mind, the frontline is constantly moving and positions are changing hands.
Svatove
The AFU repulsed an attack around Stel'makhivka. RU MoD reports fighting in the area of the magenta polygon. I believe over all the AFU is making incremental gains in the Svatove area.
Kreminna- Siversk
The AFU repulsed attacks around Ploshchanka and Bilohorivka. I adjusted the contested area a bit west of Kreminna. It seems RU forces are able to operate further west than previously though.
The AFU repulsed attacks around Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut and Ozarianivka. There might be some minor RU gains north of Bakhmut, but it seems AFU might have pushed back RuAF slightly in the Ozarianivka area.
Monkey town
The AFU repulsed attacks around Marinka and Pobjeda. Not much of interest is coming out of Marinka since RuAF stopped lying about progress there.
I have changed Dorozhnyanka from captured to contested, RU MoD reported it was captured yesterday, but there seems to be conflicting reports by Wargonzo.

Yesterday RuAF used around 60+ long range standoff weapons for the sole purpose of terrorizing civilians.
These could all have been used to target AFU command posts and ammo storages close to the front line to aid their ammunition starved troops.
Priorities I guess...
The Putin regime aims to spread fear and lower the will among the UA population to defend their country and possibly for them to start negotiation.
I have feeling they are instead creating range, unity and an even stronger will to defeat the Russian invaders. I think videos like this tells us a great deal about the determination and resilience of the Ukrainian people.
I am about 95% sure this is not in southern Ukraine. This is most likely from Kyiv region, possibly early march.
Things must be going poorly for RuAF, this is the second video lie I see today. They usually do that when something bad has happened to them.
