@LUNCDAO did not "[come up with the idea]" of merging $lunc and $luna

This determined me to reveal the true originator ...

2/ First, what is "The Merge?"

It is the idea of somehow joining both #lunc (Luna Classic) and the newer #luna together

$luna 2.0 is not a "fork" of $lunc. It was a brand new chain, with entirely separate transaction history.

Next, why merge?

3/ Why merge?

Arguably, bringing chains together would make for an immediately robust ecosystem

More users - from $lunc
More d'apps and better tech - from $luna

Interchain Alliance and Feather 🪶protocol will make $luna the center of much ...

4/ $luna and Cosmos $atom are both making plays to help secure and promote other #cosmosecosystem chains

Merging in $lunc could expose those holders to the best, newest protocols in the Cosmos, simply by staking their coins

So who created the "merge?"

5/ In November last year, @luncdao came out publicly against private rumors of a merge proposal being written for governance review

They did not *at the time* support what was being discussed in smoky internet cafes

This may have been the work of a *separate* group, having been heads down building in private, not the proposal group

7/ Confusion was compounded by the emergence of a FALSE "mergeprotocoi" with a capital "I"

mergeprotocoi *looked* like "mergeprotocoL" due to Twitter's font

And they, for unknown reasons, built a Twitter following shortly after emergence of the real @mergeprotocol

now gone😮‍💨
