2/ @AstarNetwork announced an integration with @Coinhub_Wallet granting Coinhub users access to the Astar ecosystem:
3/ @CelerNetwork has integrated Celer IM, the inter-chain messaging framework, into @AstarNetwork and @ShidenNetwork ecosystems. This allows Astar devs to build inter-chain native dapps which can leverage diverse multi-blockchain ecosystems.
4/ @MantaNetwork announced that MantaPay testnet v3 is live. It's the final testnet before the launch of MantaPay on @CalamariNetwork, and it will be the first private payment system to launch on @kusamanetwork.
5/ @giantprotocol announced the release of the new Giant mobile app. Covering 209 countries and regions, this enables new options for mobile eSIM data.
6/ Following the launch of @origin_trail's V6 mainnet, Origin Trail announced the launch of the Houston app – a node command center for DKG (Decentralized Knowledge Graph) V6 node operators. Check for the new features & more:
7/ Check the 2022 highlights from @subwalletapp & @dotinsights_xyz! This year SubWallet had 35,000+ installs, and 25,000 weekly active users from 100+ countries 🎉
8/ Check the 2022 roundup from @efinityio. Efinity had quite a year from launching their parachain to introducing new NFT functionality to countless partnerships with @SquareEnix, @MyMetaverse, and more:
9/ Check @Unique_NFTchain's recap of 2022: parachain launch, multiple partnerships, development roadmap with over 7,200 GitHub commits, next-generation NFTs, and more:
10/ @centrifuge shared a list of 22 things they have accomplished as a protocol and ecosystem throughout 2022 from launching on Polkadot to doubling their token holders and 87M TVL:
11/ This year @Bifrost_Finance launched on Polkadot, opened 13 communication channels with other chains, and established many partnerships with node merchants, wallets, and ecological projects.
12/ From partnering with 150 projects, launching multiple asset cross-chain bridges to launching new features, and opening countless communication channels with other parachains, see @CrustNetwork's most significant milestones and developments of 2022:
Despite the difficult year for the industry, the Polkadot and Kusama community were busy building the largest, & most diverse ecosystem of use case specific layer-1 blockchains in the world, making huge strides toward building a better web.
2/ With 74 parachains, 300+ dapps, 550+ projects, and 2500 monthly active developers across the ecosystem, the Polkadot community has accomplished an incredible feat in just a little over 1 year since parachains went live, and is continuing to grow.
3/ Following the launch of XCM (Cross-Consensus Message), the Polkadot ecosystem kicked off a new era of secure cross-chain interoperability, sending more than 350,000 XCM transfers, a big step towards unlocking the magic of secure cross-consensus bridging to the world.

2/ @AstarNetwork keeps moving the Japanese gaming industry towards Web3 by providing safety & reliability for @oasys_games:
3/ New HRMP channels have opened between @AstarNetwork & @InterlayHQ. This allows interBTC (Interlay's 1:1 Bitcoin-backed asset) to enter the Astar DeFi ecosystem in a trustless and secure way:
1/ Everyone loves a roadmap, right? Well guess what — Polkadot founder @rphmeier has shared some exciting insights into proposals for a series of major upgrades.
2/ Asynchronous Backing will cut the block time for parachains down to 6 seconds from 12 and increase block space by 5-10x, hugely enhancing scalability.
This will increase the amount of work every chain can do AND optimize network performance, allowing scope for more parachains
3/ It’s estimated this will take the transactions-per-second capacity of the network to between 100k and one million without affecting security.
Asynchronous Backing could be ready for deployment on @kusamanetwork by the end of 2022 and then on Polkadot, pending audits & testing
2/ Nomination pools are now fully supported in the staking dashboard and you can test-drive the feature on Westend and @kusamanetwork 🙌
The pools will soon be enabled on Polkadot and then the staking dashboard will be ready for you to create, join and manage pools
3/ All nomination pools are natively hosted on-chain and are part of the Polkadot runtime, so they are upgradable, secure, and fully embedded as part of the Relay Chain.
So what else can you do beyond joining or creating a pool? Let’s break down some more of the features
1/ Congratulations to @Kiltprotocol on making Web3 history! KILT has successfully moved from @kusamanetwork to the Polkadot Relay Chain, marking the first time a live blockchain has migrated from one network to another.
2/ Kusama provided the ideal place for KILT to develop applications quickly, stress-test their technology and try things out.
Thanks to Kusama’s fast iteration cycles, KILT was able to quickly become decentralized, add new functionalities, and prove its robustness and utility.
3/ But KILT, an identity protocol for issuing verifiable credentials and decentralized identifiers, began seeing adoption by large-scale enterprises.
This required a high level of stability and security that can't be guaranteed within the more experimental environment of Kusama.
