"Once a vampire falls in love, they are bound to that love eternally."

The clicking of his keys clattering against the paper was the only sound echoing in the room as Wei Wuxian typed on his old, well used typewriter.
Clack-clack-clack
He took a sip from his Merlot as he wrote another heartfelt line on the yellowed paper, stopping only to return the carriage to its correct place with a quiet 'ding' before continuing to write.
Clack-clack-clack
He played with the cup of wine in his hand as his eyes strayed to the red envelope on his desk.
He had received a strange invitation to a masquerade that afternoon, but not only that, the invitation stated that his presence was required at any cost.
What was supposed to be odd.
But only brought a shiver to his stomach.
In silence, he reached into his drawer and pulled out a black velvet box. His hands were a little shaky as he opened the lid and pulled a black rabbit mask out of it.
Wei Wuxian held the mask in both hands.
He leaned against his chair, looking at his new possession with approval and interest, experimentally brushing his fingers very gently over every single detail.
The details were carved in white gold and the ears were studded with red rubies and diamonds.
It was the prettiest thing he had ever owned.
It was also a present, sent with the mysterious invitation sitting a few palms away from him, which promptly specified that the use of the mask was mandatory.
He lined his eyes in black and red, curled his already long lashes, then he tinted his doll-like lips with the softest rouge he owned, simply to accentuate his already pink lips.
He combed his long, dark hair and put on his best dress, a velvety, almost black, shade of red, the color contrasting perfectly with the long, lean and ivory leg peeking from beneath its high slit.
He looked at himself pleased, excitement dancing in his eyes as he caught his reflection in the mirror.
And to complete his look, Wei Wuxian slowly raised his hand and placed the black mask over his eyes.

The castle was packed with dancing couples and alive with jugglers and acrobats, dancing in bright costumes across the stage.
Music picked up in a flourish of violins, uptempo and fast paced when Wei Wuxian finally stepped into the grand ballroom.
He walked around, mesmerized by the frieze as the music slowly built, a chorus of voices singing the melody along as royalties swirled around, oblivious to the servants discontent, as elegant and beautiful as colorful butterflies dancing in the night.
Swirls of colors and people blurred in his vision as he mingled, and just like sorcery, a man appeared through the mist, clad in black, wearing a white rabbit mask that matched his own.
Wei Wuxian was caught in a ray of moonlight, directly in front of him as the man descended the grand stairwell.
Those killer eyes shone behind the mask, amber and hot like the color of whiskey inside a crystal glass.
Those same eyes looked at him with an ice cold stare from across the room, the intensity of it so tangible it made him shiver, desiring for more of that wary, predatory intention that made his blood sing.
The jaunty melody from the musicians dipped in volume suddenly, now imposing and sensual like red wine on his lips.
The lights began to fade in and out as they walked around, eyes never leaving one another, circling around each other like cat and mouse playing a dangerous game.
Wei Wuxian could feel the man's gaze like a caress, traveling all over his body like a lover.
He watched him hungrily as he stepped closer, and Wei Wuxian stared back, almost defiant, a smirk never leaving his lips.
The song playing turned sensual and deep.
They were far from one another, but at every step, they got closer, and closer — closer enough for the man to lunge forward and catch Wei Wuxian's hand in his, spinning him around around himself.
A shudder ran up Wei Wuxian's spine as he was twirled gracefully, his dress flowing around his naked legs like a sin.
His hair, dark as midnight, swirled around his waist like a waterfall of melted onyx.
They danced passionately, swinging into a glorious sweeping waltz in the center of the room, twirling between bodies without missing a single step. Eyes never leaving one another as they relished in each other's hunger.
Lan Wangji's fingers tightened around him.
He felt his skin getting warmer, muscles flexing against his palm, pulse beating faster and faster every time he touched him, as fluid as the hot wine Wei Wuxian loved so much.
Wei Wuxian was getting hot just looking at him.
He felt a scalding wave of heat kindle between his thighs as Lan Wangji dipped him and held him in the air, nose pressed against his jugular, breathing in the sweet scent of his blood, pulsing against his lips, warm, solid, delicious.
He was in a trance, eyes open and unblinking as Lan Wangji traced his carotid with the tip of his tongue.
He wants and he wants and he wants, because once a vampire falls in love, they are bound to that love, he would never get settled with half, he wants him whole.
He caressed wwx's neck gently, he could feel his heart pounding wildly within his chest, his blood rushing so heavy and hot in his veins he could feel each pulse of it against his lips.
He wants to keep him, he wants to own him, he wants to break him and turn him.
He caressed wwx's neck gently, he could feel his heart pounding wildly within his chest, his blood rushing so heavy and hot in his veins he could feel each pulse of it against his lips.
Lan Wangji leaned closer, their lips almost touching.
"You make my blood boil and my skin crawl." Wei Wuxian's voice trembled in a whisper.
"That's not all I could do with your skin." Lan Wangji pierced him with his eyes before scraping his fangs over the bare skin of his neck.
"There are few things in life that I love." Lan Wangji said and Wei Wuxian moaned when he felt Lan Wangji nipping at his jaw, the scent of his own blood sending him into a frenzy. "The last look in my victim's eyes just before they die."
Wei Wuxian's body tingled in response to the feel of Lan Wangji's fingers moving up along his thigh.
"And you." Lan Wangji's canines distended into longer fangs and Wei Wuxian's eyes widened for a fraction, helpless in Lan Wangji's grasp.
He sees something lighting up behind Wei Wuxian's frightened eyes, as if the anticipation of danger was thrilling and comical in a ludicrous way.
He lets his guard down at that, even if just for a second, and then, he feels the hard touch of a wooden stake against his chest.
Wei Wuxian smiles, wide and sweet and mischievously before removing the mask from his face and kissing him deeply, tongue sliding into his mouth and flicking against his teeth in mockery.
The thumb of Lan Wangji's traveling hand pressed into the pulse of his inner thigh as Wei Wuxian aligned the tip of the stake to his heart.
"How does it feel?" Wei Wuxian singsongs, pressing the stake a little bit harder. "To be a puppet on my string?"
"If you wish to cease my life." Lan Wangji whispered in his ear. His voice has gotten deeper, his eyes have gone dark and red as he held Wei Wuxian's wrist and pressed the stake further against his own heart. "My life is yours to take."
"Maybe not today." Wei Wuxian laughed, tipping his head to the side and offering his neck to him. "You look famished, my dear, why don't you get yourself a bite?"
I wanted to write Famous writer wwx and Vampire lwj so bad! 😩
Plot twist: wwx is also a vampire hunter. You can't fool him 😌
We're always writing about Lan Wangji's everlasting love and devotion, but what if…
What if he had killed Wei Wuxian instead?
This will be a short Brother bear AU. I'm writing as it goes, please bear with me, I'll have to pause it a few times.
tw: MCD, angst, hopeful ending.
Lan Wangji resented foxes, he hated them, not because they're spiteful creatures or something, but because they're natural hunters and they kill for fun, especially this one fox, who had the habit of breaking into his rabbit's hutch in the dead of night.
His rabbits — His mother's rabbits, they were more than pets, they were the last thing his mother had left him after her death, the last memory he had of her.
And having a fox, of all things, killing them every now and then, well, that wouldn't do.
After their little playtime in the woods and a traumatized little apple, they walked nonstop all night, unable to properly fly on Bichen because of the donkey following them a few steps behind.
In the afternoon, they mapped out the route for their next path and after some walk, they stopped in front of an inn in Hangzhou, one of the small territories around Caiyi Town.
Wei Wuxian watched outside as the villagers walked in and out of the tavern across the street,
Mo Xuanyu was sitting crosslegged on the couch, he had a mug filled with hot chocolate in one hand and his phone in the other, mindlessly checking on his instagram while Xue Yang was sitting on the other end, probably playing whichever game was his new obsession when
His long hair was a tangled, wet mess and his eyes were red and puffy and just as wet as the rest of himself. His once immaculate and carefully done eyeliner was now marred by tears, and his usually confident smirk was completely gone.

cw: Exhibitionism, public sex, voyeurism.
University AU, where Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji have been dating for a few years now. They have been together since high school and now that they're both in college, people are starting to notice Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian is very naive, having not much experience when it comes to other people flirting with him, he doesn't understand that what people are doing is more than just a friendly interaction most of the time.
They are obviously flirting with him, ogling, lusting, craving for a little taste, a little piece of him.
However, Wei Wuxian loves his Lan Zhan too much to see the heart eyes he's receiving from everyone, both boys and girls alike, even some of his teachers.
